Cooking Traditional Foods is a website that focuses on a traditional and natural approach to living. We host discussions of all aspects of life from a natural point of view, including traditional foods, alternative medicine, and attachment parenting.
We do not support nor do we host discussions on the merits of a wholly allopathic approach to medicine nor approaching any form of medicine without fully informed consent. We do not host discussions promoting non-traditional foods, crying it out, elective formula feeding, elective cesarean section, elective inductions, routine circumcision, or mandatory vaccination. We have a decidedly different view from the mainstream, and drama over the above issues will not be tolerated.
Our purpose is to provide education and support in a safe gathering place where members at all stages of learning the traditional foods lifestyle. We hope you will solicit advice, find information and support, form a community, discuss topics and debate current discoveries and advancements with like-minded individuals. We wish to maintain a respectful atmosphere for our guests and members. Discussions that are respectful despite disagreement are welcome on the board.
We do not host discussion related to abortion, illegal drug use, or euthanasia. We do not host debates on religion or politics that are not directly related to traditional food issues.
Membership is free, however some features of the board are only available for a fee. You are limited to one registration and one identity per person. All free e-mail accounts, such as gmail, yahoo or hotmail, will be moderated until your first post to help avoid spam on the forum.
Posting in support of wholly allopathic approachs to medicine, non-traditional foods, crying it out, elective formula feeding, elective cesarean section, elective inductions, routine circumcision, or mandatory vaccination will not be tolerated. Posting in support of these issues will result in the post being removed or altered and the member receiving one warning.
We do not tolerate bigotry or hate directed towards another member. Personal attacks on a person or their family, the use of profanity, posts of a gratuitously sexual nature, racist/sexist or other bigoted material, quoting a private message from another member on the forum, or posting copyrighted material without permission from the author are prohibited on the board. You will receive one warning.
You may not copy a recipe or menu mailer from a subscription area in whole or in part and post it to a publicly accessible area of the forum. Doing so will result in one warning and the suspension of your Mailer/Archive subscription. Please see the Terms and Conditions for more details.
You will be banned from the board when you have received two warnings.
You will be banned from the board immediately should you make threats of violence against yourself or another person and you will be reported to your ISP and your local authorities. Trolling or otherwise disrupting the board will result in your immediate removal from the board. What constitutes trolling is solely subject to discretion by the admins.
Advertising without permission or without a paid signature advertising package is prohibited. Advertising on private messages or e-mail without the recipient having requested the information is regarded as SPAM and is prohibited and you will result in being banned and reported to your ISP after one warning.
Because posts are intregral in the discussions at Cooking Traditional Foods, you may edit but not delete your posts. Should you need a post removed for safety reasons, please contact an administrator.
Should you find a post that violates this user agreement, please use the 'report to moderator' function on the post or PM or e-mail a moderator or administrator. Do not contact the poster directly.
If a post is in violation of the User Agreement, we will lock the thread or move it for review. If a posting is removed or locked for review, the administrator will contact any users necessary to resolve the issue. Users who are asked to alter their posts but refuse to do so will result in an administrator removing the post and the user being suspended from the board for 30 days. A second refusal to alter posts by a user will result in the user being banned from either the board or the particular forum in which the offense occurred, at the discretion of the administrators.
Posting about an issue or thread that has been removed or is locked for review will result in one warning and a suspension from the board for 30 days.
The administrators reserve the right to change the user agreement, ban any user, remove any posting or refuse membership to any individual at any time.
Because the board is in real-time, it is impossible for the administrators to review all messages and confirm the validity of everything posted. We are not responsible for any posting on the board. The posts contain the views of their authors, and do not necessarily reflect the views of Cooking Traditional Foods or any person or entity associated with this board and website. You agree not to post any material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions.
You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised. This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies only to improve your viewing pleasure. The e-mail address you give is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one) and for sending e-mails that you request to update you on threads or forums having new posts.
As a member you remain solely responsible for the content of your messages and behavior. Most of the forum is viewable by guests, and you should not post anything that you would not to be found on a search engine such as Google or Yahoo.
Submissions: Any communication or material, including recipes, data, questions, comments, products, materials, or suggestions you transmit to Cooking Traditional Foods and its web site by electronic mail or otherwise, will become the exclusive property of Cooking Traditional Foods and may be used for any future purpose including, but not limited to, developing, manufacturing, and marketing products using such information. We will not review or consider any unsolicited creative submissions. Please understand that this is to avoid the chance of future misunderstandings in the event that ideas, products, or projects created by Cooking Traditional Foods might seem to others to be similar to their own ideas or creative work. Therefore we ask that you do not send us any unsolicited creative ideas, products, or suggestions. If, despite our request, you do send us an unsolicited submission electronically or by any other means, it shall become the property of Cooking Traditional Foods. No unsolicited submission will be subject to any obligation of confidence by us, and we will not be liable for any use or disclosure of any submission. We will exclusively own all known or later-existing rights to the Submission worldwide, and will be entitled to the unrestricted use of the Submission for any purpose without compensation to the provider of the Submission.
The purchase of a Cooking Traditional Foods Menu Mailer subscription, Recipe Archive subscription or individual back/special issues is for your personal use only. Sharing the e-mails, PDF files, plagiarizing any portion of the mailer, or otherwise sharing it with anyone outside of your household or violating other forum rules is grounds for immediate suspension of your subscription without a refund and refusal of future subscription services. In addition, no portion of this website of forum in any form may be reproduced without permission. You may be subject to legal action. We appreciate your honesty.
Cooking Traditional Foods offers a free sample menu that is representative of the regularly published menus delivered with a subscription to the Menu-Mailer. Purchases are non-refundable. Subscriptions are transferable to another person &/or e-mail address by e-mailing us at subscriptions@cookingTF.com. If you decide after trying the service that you would like to change to a different subscription package, please e-mail us at subscriptions@cookingTF.com and we will happily assist you in changing your subscription.
Cooking Traditional Foods offers free sample recipes that are representative of the available recipes with a subscription to the Recipe Archive. Purchases are non-refundable. Subscriptions are transferable to another person &/or e-mail address by e-mailing us at subscriptions@cookingTF.com. If you decide after trying the service that you would like to change to a different subscription package, please e-mail us at subscriptions@cookingTF.com and we will happily assist you in changing your subscription.
