I think I'm different than the majority of most menu mailer subscribers, but I'm willing to give my input.
I first found out about KerryAnn's Menu Mailer as I was preparing to move out of the college dorms and start life on my own. The weekly recipes, shopping list, and preparation schedule helped me start a good habit of eating wholesome nutritious food rather than falling into the convenience food trap of microwave dinners and frozen pizza that many of my friends enjoy on a daily basis. KerryAnn's recipes are easy to follow and so tasty. I highly recommend the menu mailer for anyone wishing for some great recipes and a way to improve their health.
These menu mailers and recipes have saved my domestic life! I was completely bored and burned out with my cooking and needed this boost to make it fun for me, tasty and healthy for my family, and organized enough to be stress-free.
Thanks KerryAnn for creating this! I am telling everyone I know....
I love the Menu Mailer! I don't necessarily use every recipe every week because, as a small family, we often have left-overs. I don't think we've tried a recipe we haven't liked. Some we keep going back to and making over and over again. I really like to cook, but I used to start thinking about dinner at 5:00. Now, the advance planning is done for me, and I know we are eating healthier foods. Keep up the good work, KerryAnn!
These menu mailers and recipes have saved my domestic life! I had become burned out and bored with my own cooking, and this provided a fun, healthy, delicious change for the better. And now I am so organized in the kitchen, that it has taken much stress out of my daily life.
Thanks, KerryAnn for creating this wonderful resource. I am telling everyone I know!
Before subscribing to KerryAnn's Menu Mailer meal times essentially consisted of whatever takeout seemed the healthiest. Trader Joes was my next best source, but even that got old fast. Everyday I'd feel nervous, stressed, and depressed about what in the heck to do. Takeout was getting expensive and frankly, was not nearly as good as homemade meals. But what was a non-cook supposed to do? I was at my wits end until I discovered Traditional Foods cooking... but the books I bought were overwhelming. I had no idea where to start... until I came across the Menu Mailer in one of the foods forums.
I cannot tell you what a difference that made to our family. We are provided a shopping list, prep instructions for each day of the week, as well as the recipes themselves. Even side dishes and desserts are addressed. Now, meals are a pleasure to prepare. I feel incredibly good knowing my family is getting healthy food that I made myself! And the best part is that it isn't even that hard!
KerryAnn is my hero. I hope she continues to offer her amazing knowledge for a long time to come. Healthy meals don't have to taste weird or unflavorful... with the right guidance they can transform your entire life.
I discovered KerryAnn's Menu Mailer after nearly losing my head going gluten and casein free. We have been working on going a more traditional foods route when my newborn breastfeeding baby needed me to do an elimination diet because of allergies. It was so stressful and overwhelming. After subscribing to the mailer, it has already lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. Everything is planned and listed so I am actually able to relax and enjoy my food!
I came across the Menu Mailer quite a few months ago and it could not have come at a better time for me. I decided to subscribe and see if it was worth the money for our family. Even though we cannot make all the recipes due to not eating all types of meat (we eat poultry and fish), it is SO worth it! I was stuck in a rut, making the same meals over and over for my family; the Menu Mailer has changed all that.
I now make a variety of healthy dinners every week that my family enjoys. The crockpot recipes are wonderful and easy to prepare. Best of all, my husband and kids now eat cabbage occasionally!
KerryAnn's Menu Mailer is like a breath of fresh air for what was my same old, same old, boring menu plan. My weekly menu plan is now full of new ideas for healthy, nutritious, family-friendly meals, snack and desserts! What I really love is that she uses and recommends a lot of the healthier brands that we already use. And, she always gives GF/CF options - *love that*! This has been a hit for a family of extremely picky eaters!
Before I found this mailer I was previously using another menu-mailer type of program. The old one was based on conventional "wisdom" about health (low fat, low salt, wrong kinds of fats when they were used, lots of pastas, etc) and even though I did my best to convert them to more traditional foods, they were not very tasty at all and it was killing my budget. I eventually gave up because it just wasn't worth it but I was still struggling to learn how to really cook the "TF" way day in and day out. Enter KerryAnn and cookingtf.com (cue the Hallelujah Chorus), we love the meals (my hubby comments all the time how I've been "hitting the jackpot" with recipes), I spend less in groceries, and the meals are right on nutritionally! I can't praise this mailer highly enough- I love it!
I'm currently on week 12 of my subscription and will absolutely be renewing. Having the planning and the grocery list prepared a head of time is wonderful, having the option of making everything gluten/ casein free is priceless. And, somehow it still isn't terribly expensive - my husband and I recently figured out that following the mailer costs us about $50 a month in groceries more than we'd spend if we ate as cheaply as we possibly could. And given the amount of vegetables contained in the mailer recipes, I think that's awesome.
I get the mailer on thursday and make my grocery list. Friday or saturday we shop, then on sunday I do all of my preparation. Whenever I can't do the prep. ahead of time, I feel it all week and want to fall back into take out etc. Knowing what to make and that I have all the ingredients makes life *so* much easier!
A year ago I was stuck in a rut, a junk/processed food rut. I didn't have a lot of knowledge about cooking. We seemed to have our share of illnesses and then some. I had a feeling that the junk we had been eating was not healthy for us. By chance i happened to read about Kerry Ann on a yahoo group. I decided to try it out and it was the best purchase i made in a LONG time.
The weekly list and daily prep guide is a tremendous help. I was never on top of meals like i am now. It's nice to go shopping and see how different the cart looks, Fruits, vegs and I get to use them in ways i never would have thought of.
The meals are super easy. DH and the kids love the meals AND they are healthy. Before the mailers i only had a hand full of things I was comfortable preparing. DH now tells me the variety is awesome.
I wish i would have found out about this sooner!

I work outside of the home full time. By the time we all get home (husband, two kids and me) we're all exhausted. We had fallen into a trap of eating frozen dinners and very few vegetables. We were getting sick and just not healthy.
I looked into a few menu mailers & decided to go with this one. I have never once regretted my choice. We all LOVE the recipes that we've tried. The food is healthy & we're getting healthier every day. DH has even lost weight!
The menu mailer is really a great one. Everyone who is looking for wholesome, delicious recipes should subscribe!
The menu mailer has been a lifesaver for me too... It has such great variety, and the recipes are all really good. I love that it reminds me to eat a good variety of what is fresh and in season. It also does a good job of using different kinds of meats, and different styles of cooking. I like that she does a fair amount of crock pot cooking because that is such a sanity saver. I always wanted to incorporate more bone broths and lacto-fermented foods into my famiy's meals, but it was hard to work those things into my cooking style and my schedule. Now, it is automatic... I just follow along, and I feel really good about what I'm feeding my family. I used the mailer while I was pregnant and it made me feel a whole lot better. Now that my baby is here, we're eating all the leftovers that I froze (the menu mailer makes enough for leftovers most nights, I find). Highly recommended!
We were in a rut when it came to what was for dinner. When I did make a menu plan I found it easy to come up with the main dish, but really difficult to come up with what else should go with it. KerryAnn's menu mailer really was a lifesaver for me. Not only had someone planned out the main dishes, but they even came up with sides. The shopping list (organized to boot) really was the icing on the cake. Finally - meals became so much easier!!
I used to hate meal planning! The menu mailer makes it so easy and done in a fraction of the time. And the best part is that the meals are all so healthy. We have loved most of the recipes, and the ones we haven't 'loved' we're still good. I made the best turkey ever this Christmas due to KerryAnn. I am always recomending the mailer to friends.
I haven't had a chance to do this very long, but the menus are very good. I really enjoy how we can make them GFCF so easily for my 3 boys with Autism. What a blessing this mailer is and I can't wait to try more!!!

KerryAnn's menu mailer has made my life so much easier. As a SAHM, it was getting to be a challenge planning weekly meals for my family that were healthy, tasty, and not too time consuming. I literally toiled over cookbooks for hours putting together a menu for the week.
I was so thrilled when I discovered the menu mailer and even more excited when I found out that the recipes were Nourishing Traditions based. I really love that cookbook however many of the recipes call for extensive preparation and have a French flair which my husband doesn't care for.
Thanks to KerryAnn I can feel good about the fact that I am feeding my family highly nutritious and delicious meals and that it doesn't take as long as it used to. Now when I get the mailer, I don't stress out about what to serve for the week. I've even begun to enjoy cooking, something of which I've never much cared for. As a mother of a breastfed infant who cannot yet tolerate dairy, it's nice to know I can still enjoy tasty meals without it.
KerryAnn's menu mailer was EXACTLY what I was looking for!
Thanks, KerryAnn!
I LOVE to cook (well, mostly I love to bake) for my family, but for whatever reason i get quite overwhelmed trying to come up with a menu each week. often i end up NOT doing a menu, which means most afternoon's there is a moment of panic or resignation trying to figure out what to cook. Compounding the issue is the fact that we are into traditional foods/cooking methods, which is NOT fast food or microwave-friendly. This really limits the options if you don't plan ahead. Enter the menu mailer! What I LOVE:
1) The menu is planned out for me. Usually there is one meal that I know my family will not go for (they don't like soup for dinner), but that makes room for our personal weekly favorite to be added to the menu.
2) Not only recipes but a grocery list & "daily to-do" list. This helps me greatly in planning ahead & budgeting. I no longer forget to get the grains soaking the night before!
3) The price. This is an incredible service that is really affordable. Due to the way we choose to eat, the rest of our budget is really tight. Adding the menu mailer/recipe archive is not very painful to the budget.
4) The Recipe Archive!! I LOVE the archive, as the "dinner planning stress" definitely extends to lunch & breakfast for me. This has helped TREMENDOUSLY in helping me add variety to all 3 meals for my family.
5) The forum. Help is there when you need it! That beats ANY cookbook for sure.
