ASIAN STYLE GROUND CHICKEN AND NOODLES

taken from 125 best ground meat recipe book by ilanna simon --- cooking time does not include cooking the pasta, ground turkey can be used in place of ground chicken, this is very good!

Number Of Ingredients: 17

Ingredients: oil,green onions,gingerroot,garlic,cauliflower florets,green bell pepper,red bell pepper,ground chicken,vermicelli,tamari,seasoned rice vinegar,sesame oil,chili sauce,lime zest,lime juice,brown sugar,baby bok choy

Steps:

  1. in a wok , or large skillet , heat oil over med-high heat
  2. saute the green onions , ginger , garlic , cauliflower florets , green and red peppers for 1 minute
  3. add the ground chicken
  4. brown
  5. breaking up the chicken , for 5 mins , or until no longer pink
  6. meanwhile , in a sauce pan of boiling salted water
  7. cook noodles for 6-7 mins , or until al dente
  8. drain and rinse
  9. for the sauce
  10. in a bowl combine tamari , rice vinegar , sesame oil , chili sauce , lime zest , lime juice and brown sugar
  11. pour into wok then stir until blended
  12. add the bok choy and stir well
  13. cover and cook for 2 mins , or until bok choy is tender
  14. add cooked noodles and stir into veggies and chicken
  15. add additional tamari if desired
