Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Put the Monterey Jack, Cheddar, parsley, bacon and onion whites in a bowl and mix well.
- Cut the bread in strips in one direction, being careful not to cut all the way through the loaf. Rotate the bread 90 degrees and cut in the other direction to create small squares across the top of the loaf. Move slowly and use caution. Place the bread on a large sheet of aluminum foil.
- Stuff the cheese mixture in between the rows of squares. Mix the melted butter and ranch dressing, then drizzle over the top. Wrap the loaf in the foil and bake for 25 minutes. Open the foil and continue to bake until heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly, another 10 minutes. Sprinkle with the onion greens and serve immediately.

PARTY CHEESE BREAD
You can't go wrong with this recipe. The cheesy, butter bread is so simple to make but the taste is sinful. Plus it looks fantastic, and people just flock to it! It's better than the usual garlic bread with pasta, too. -Karen Grant, Tulare, California

- Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook bacon in a nonstick skillet over medium, stirring often, until crispy, 6 to 7 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to drain, reserving drippings in skillet. Add butter, thyme, garlic, and salt to skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Using a serrated knife, make parallel cuts 1 inch apart in bread loaf, cutting to within 1/2 inch of the bottom of the loaf. (Do not cut all the way through the loaf.) Turn bread 90°, and make parallel cuts 1 inch apart to create a crosshatch pattern. Place loaf on apiece of aluminum foil large enough to wrap around bread completely. Place on a baking sheet.
- Pour butter mixture evenly into cuts in bread loaf, using your fingers to separate to ensure butter mixture gets deep into the cuts. Stir together cheeses in a medium bowl.Stuff bacon and 1 cup of the cheese mixture evenly into cuts in bread loaf. Fold foil overtop of loaf to completely enclose. Bake in preheated oven 15 minutes.
- Uncover loaf, and top loaf evenly with remaining 1/2 cup cheese mixture. Sprinkle with chives. Return to oven, and bake until cheese is melted and barely golden brown, 12to 15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

- Weigh your all-purpose flour; or measure it by gently spooning it into a cup, then sweeping off any excess.
- Combine the flour with the remaining ingredients and mix to form a shaggy dough., Knead the dough — by hand, mixer, or bread machine set to the dough cycle — until it forms a smooth, somewhat tacky ball, adding more flour or water if necessary., Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 60 to 90 minutes, until it's puffy though not necessarily doubled in bulk., Lightly grease a 10-cup Party Bundt Pan or other tube-style pan., Gently deflate the dough and form it into a large ball.
- Use your fingers to pierce a hole through the center of the ball and place the resulting dough ring into the prepared pan., Cover the pan with greased plastic and let the dough rise for 60 to 90 minutes, until it's puffy and starting to fill the pan.
- Towards the end of the rising time, preheat the oven to 350°F., Uncover the pan, and bake the bread for 25 to 30 minutes, until it's golden brown on top; a digital thermometer inserted into the center will read 190°F., Remove the bread from the oven, allow it to cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then turn out onto a rack to cool completely., While you’re waiting for the bread to cool, cook and chop the bacon (we recommend baking it), and chop the chives., In a medium bowl combine the bacon with the cheese., Once the loaf has cooled, slice it down to within 1” of the base (you’ll want the bottom to remain unsliced in order to maintain the ring), using the scalloped pattern as a guide if the loaf was baked in a party Bundt pan, or cutting at 1" intervals if it was baked in another tube-style pan., Gently pull each section of the Bundt away from its neighbor and fill the cavity with a heaping tablespoon of the bacon-cheddar mixture., Once all the cavities have been filled, sprinkle the chop
