Burger King's zesty sauce is the perfect dip to compliment your onion rings, fries and burgers. You're going to find this recipe really useful as the sauce can go with everything.

2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon white granulated sugar
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon ketchup
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (you can add more or less as desired)
2 teaspoons yellow mustard (you can substitute Dijon or spicy brown mustard if you prefer)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • In a medium sized bowl, mix together the vinegar and the sugar. Stir together and mix until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and stir together with a rubber spatula. Be sure that all the ingredients are fully incorporated together.
  • Taste for seasoning. Put in the fridge and let sit for at least 30 minutes before serving, this will allow the flavors to marry together. After letting it sit, taste again to be sure the seasoning is still on point.
  • Store covered in the fridge for up to 7 days. Serve with onion rings, fries, tater tots, fish sticks, mozzarella sticks, chicken nuggets, burgers, or anything else that you see fit!

BBQ MEATLOAF STACKS



BBQ Meatloaf Stacks image

Crispy, cheesy mashed potato cakes topped with a big slice of tangy BBQ meatloaf.

Number Of Ingredients 16

3 lbs ground beef
2 eggs
2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup minced onion
2 cups oatmeal, not instant
2 teaspoon salt
12 ounces evaporated milk
1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
2 cups ketchup
2 tablespoon liquid smoke
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup minced onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 cup bbq sauce (not honey)
Potato Cake Stacks, warmed

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add all of the ingredients for the sauce. Cook until thick and bubbly; stirring occasionally. ~10 minutes.
  • To make the meatloaf mix all the meatloaf ingredients together in a large bowl. Transfer the mixture to the baking sheet and using your hands, form a loaf that is about 12 inches long, 6 inches wide, and about 2 1/2-3 inches tall. The loaf should be smooth and have rounded edges. This will help the loaf stay together when serving. Bake for 20 minutes, remove from the oven, and spread the bbq sauce on top of the meatloaf, dripping over the sides.
  • Place back in the oven and bake for another 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and spread more of the bbq sauce over top. Place back in the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165F. Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 10-15 minutes before cutting.
  • Put the oven to broil and put the rack in the upper third of the oven. Place a Potato Cake Stacks down on a parchment-lined baking sheet, slice a 1" thick slab of the meatloaf, and place it on top of that.
  • Ladle some bbq sauce on top and place the pan in the oven for a few minutes or until the bbq sauce is bubbling and starts to brown/caramelize. Remove from the oven and serve.

1/2 lb ground pork
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 egg, beaten
1 onion, finely diced
1 green bell pepper, finely diced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine the beef, pork, bread crumbs, barbecue sauce, egg, onion, bell pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared sheet pan and shape by hand into a loaf, about 8x4 inches.
  • Whisk together the sauce ingredients and set aside 3 tablespoons. Brush the remaining sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake for 1 hour.
  • Remove the meatloaf and brush the reserved sauce on top. Bake for 15-20 more minutes.
