2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, soften
1 cup butter, soften
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried dill
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • In a food processor, add garlic and process until finely chopped, stopping once to scrape down sides.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and process until smooth, stopping twice to scrape down sides.
  • (You may use only 1 clove of garlic, if you prefer).
  • NOTE: This can be frozen up to 3 months or refrigerated up to 1 week.

1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Chop garlic clove in food processor, stopping once to scrape down the sides. Add cream cheese, butter and remaining ingredients. Process until smooth, stopping twice to scrape down sides. Cheese mixture may be refrigerated up to one week or frozen up to three months.

Steps:

  • Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add garlic clove.
  • Process until finely chopped, stopping once to scrape down sides.
  • Add cream cheese, butter and remaining ingredients; process until smooth, stopping twice to scrape down sides.
  • Cheese mixture may be refrigerated up to one week or frozen uo to three months.

2 garlic cloves
8 ounces butter, at room temperature
16 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese (the real stuff, and freshly-grated)
1 tablespoon fresh dill, minced or 1 teaspoon dried dill weed, crumbled
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon chives
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crumbled
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Have cheeses and butter at room temperature.
  • Crush garlic.
  • Mix cheeses, butter and garlic.
  • Add remaining ingredients, mix well.
  • Pack into a container just large enough to hold the boursin and store in refrigerator.
  • To serve, bring to room temperature.
  • Serve with crackers.

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 small garlic clove, quartered
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 cup chopped parsley leaves
1 tablespoon chopped chives
Crackers or toasts (for serving)

Steps:

  • Combine cream cheese, butter, garlic, and salt in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until smooth. Add parsley and chives and pulse a few times until well combined. Pack mixture into a small bowl, ramekin, or glass jar. Cover and chill at least 30 minutes. Serve with crackers or toasts.
  • Do Ahead
  • Cheese can be made 5 days ahead. Cover and chill.

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, mash together the garlic and salt to make a paste.
  • Combine with the cream cheese, butter, parsley, and pepper until smooth.
  • Transfer cheese to a 2 cup casserole dish or ovenproof bowl and bake in a 350 degree oven for about ten minutes or until warm.
  • Serve with crackers, or toasted French or Italian Bread.
