Carols Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipes

CAROLYNN'S CHOCOLATE-CHIP COOKIES

Steps:

• In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda; set aside. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Turn off heat and add both sugars; whisk until combined. Transfer mixture to a medium bowl, and let cool to room temperature.
• Whisk egg, egg yolk, and vanilla into butter mixture. Fold in reserved flour mixture until just combined. Fold in chips and nuts. Wrap dough in plastic; refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
• Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Using two large spoons, place golf-ball-size mounds of dough 3 inches apart on baking sheets. Bake until cookies are golden brown and the tops no longer look wet, 12 to 14 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet 5 minutes; transfer to a wire rack. Let cool completely before serving.

CAROB CHIP COOKIES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
• Grease or spray cookie sheets. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
• With a mixer beat butter, date sugar, brown sugar, milk and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add egg and beat well. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in 1 cup carob chips.
• Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
• Cool on baking sheets 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

CAROL'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Steps:

• Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add in large eggs, well beaten. Add in vanilla and lowfat milk. Add in dry ingredients and last, but not least, chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 min. "Melt-in-your-mouth good."

CAROL'S SOFT AND CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIPPIES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 375°.
• Mix flour with baking soda in a bowl and set aside.
• In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars and pudding mix.
• Beat until smooth and creamy.
• Beat in eggs and vanilla; gradually add flour mixture.
• Stir in chips and nuts.
• Roll into balls and flatten slightly or drop by teaspoon full on a non greased cookie sheet.
• Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes.

GRANDMA CAROL'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Steps:

• Mix together sugars, Large eggs and shortening. Then add in vanilla, flour, soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Preheat oven to 325. Bake 8-10 min, being sure not to overbake.
