CHILI SPICED ALMONDS

Number Of Ingredients: 10

Ingredients: water,egg white,almonds,sugar,salt,smoked paprika,ground cumin,ground coriander,chili powder,cooking spray

Steps:

  1. preheat oven to 300
  2. combine 1 tablespoon water and egg white in a large bowl
  3. stir with a whisk until foamy
  4. add almonds
  5. toss well to coat
  6. place almonds in a colander , and drain 5 minutes
  7. combine almonds , sugar , and next 5 ingredients in a large bowl
  8. toss to coat
  9. spread almond mixture in a single layer on a jelly-roll pan coated with cooking spray
  10. bake at 300 for 15 minutes
  11. stir almond mixture
  12. reduce oven temperature to 275
  13. bake an additional 40 minutes , stirring every 10 minutes
  14. remove from oven
  15. cool 5 minutes
  16. break apart any clusters
  17. cool completely
