This is a cookie which is made into a roll; when cut it resembles stained glass windows in churches.

Steps:
- Melt chocolate chips and margarine in a heavy pan over low heat. Remove from heat and add beaten egg slowly. Let cool 15 minutes.
- Gently add marshmallows and nuts. Chill in refrigerator 30 minutes. Form into a large log and roll in coconut. Wrap in waxed paper and chill several hours. Cut in slices. Variation: If in a hurry, use a 8 inch square pan . Cover bottom with coconut, add completed mixture then cover top with more coconut. Chill well then cut into small squares.

This is yet another version of church windows - this one from Cooks.com. I haven't tasted them yet but my husband claims they are good -- his mother used to make them for Christmas.

Steps:
- Melt chocolate chips and butter. Cool them to touch (don't want to melt the marshmallows).
- Add the nuts and marshmallows. Mix well.
- Divide mixture into to 2 large log rolls. Roll each roll in the coconut.
- Wrap in waxed paper and chill for 24 hours.
- Slice into 1/3 inch cookies.
- Recipe makes about 3 dozen.

- Melt butter in top of double boiler over hot water. Add chocolate morsels; stir until melted, then remove from heat. Let cool. Add marshmallows; stir lightly.
- Spread half of the coconut in a greased 9x9x2 - inch pan. Spread chocolate mixture over coconut in pan. Top with remaining coconut. Press down with a spoon. Refrigerate until set. When well chilled, cut into small squares.

- Shape into loaves and chill 1 hour.
- Then sift powdered sugar over loaves and cut into slices of desired thickness.

Steps:
- Melt the butter and chocolate chips in a heavy saucepan over medium heat; mix until smooth and creamy; remove from heat and stir in the vanilla. Fold in the marshmallows and walnuts.
- Scatter about half of the coconut onto a large baking sheet. Form the chocolate mixture into two oblong logs and lay them onto the coconut. Use the remaining coconut to coat the logs. Refrigerate until the logs are firm, about 1 hour. Cut logs into 3/4-inch slices.

- SHARP DEVILED EGGS. 6 hard-cooked eggs. 1/ 2 teaspoon salt. 2 teaspoons prepared mustard. 1 to 1-1/2 tablespoons vinegar. Paprika for garnish. Shell eggs and cut in halves lengthwise.
- CHEESE DEVILED EGGS RECIPE. Add 1/2 cup grated cheddar or crumbled blue cheese, a dash of garlic salt and hot pepper sauce to yolk mixture for basic or sharp deviled eggs.
- DEVILED EGGS WITH CHICKEN. Add 2 cups finely diced cooked chicken to yolk mixture for basic or sharp deviled eggs. Reduce mustard in basic deviled eggs to 1/2 teaspoon, in sharp deviled eggs to 3 teaspoons.
- CHICKEN LIVER DEVILED EGGS. Saute 1/2 pound chicken livers in 2 tablespoons butter or oil until done. Force warm chicken livers through a sieve or mash with a fork.
- CRAB DEVILED EGGS. Add 3/4 cup flaked crab meat and 1/4 cup diced celery to yolk mixture for basic or sharp deviled eggs.
- HAM DEVILED EGGS RECIPE. Omit salt in basic or sharp deviled eggs and reduce mayonnaise to 2 tablespoons for basic and vinegar to 1/2 tablespoon for sharp deviled eggs.
- TUNA-CAPER DEVILED EGGS. Drain a 6-1/2-ounce can tuna and add to egg yolk mixture for basic or sharp deviled eggs. If wished, mustard may be omitted. Mix in a tablespoon capers.
- LOBSTER DEVILED EGGS RECIPE. Pick over 1/2 pound cooked lobster meat and dice fine. Add lobster meat, a teaspoon chili sauce. a teaspoon diced green pepper and 1/2 teaspoon grated onion to egg yolk mixture.
- HERBED DEVILED EGGS. Add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon herb, such as minced chives, caraway seeds, shallots, thyme or curry powder to yolk mixture for basic or sharp deviled eggs.
