3 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
3 tablespoons sherry or chicken broth
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons honey
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 garlic clove, minced
2 pork tenderloins (3/4 pound each)

Steps:

  • In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first six ingredients. Add the pork; seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate 4-6 hours. , Drain and discard marinade. Grill pork, covered, over medium heat for 15-20 minutes or until a thermometer reads 160°, turning occasionally. Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing.

4 teaspoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons raspberry vinegar or dry sherry
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 pound pork tenderloin (about 2 tenderloins)

Steps:

  • Combine soy sauce, vinegar (or sherry), honey and cumin and stir to mix well.
  • Remove any fat on pork and place in marinade, turning to coat. Marinate from 1 hour to overnight,
  • Prepare a charcoal fire and allow it to burn down to gray ash. Grill pork, turning frequently and basting with marinade. Grill a total of 15 to 20 minutes until the thick middle part is pale pink. Ends will be done sooner; they may be cut off and set aside. Slice and serve.

1 boneless whole pork loin roast (3 to 4 pounds)
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup honey
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1-1/2 teaspoons Chinese-style mustard
1 teaspoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder

Steps:

  • Sprinkle pork roast with garlic salt and pepper. Place in a shallow roasting pan lined with heavy-duty foil. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 50 minutes. , Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. 2 tablespoons rice wine, also known as shaoxing
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 teaspoons ground five spice
1 tablespoon salt
5 cloves garlic, crushed
1 piece fresh ginger, sliced 2 in (5 cm)
2 tablespoons bean curd
¼ cup bean curd liquid
¼ cup hoisin sauce
½ cup honey
2 lb boneless pork shoulder
1 cup white rice, cooked, for serving
2 large bok choys, steamed, for serving

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, Shaoxing, sesame oil, five spice, salt, garlic, ginger, bean curd, bean curd liquid, hoisin, and honey.
  • Place the pork into the marinate, turn to coat completely, and cover with cling wrap.
  • Marinate for at least 3 hours, or preferably overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set a wire rack on top.
  • Transfer the pork shoulder from the marinade to the wire rack.
  • Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes until the edges are slightly charred.
  • Pour the marinade through a strainer into a medium pot.
  • Heat the marinade on medium heat until it reduces to ¼ of its original volume, about 10 minutes.
  • Glaze the pork with the reduced marinade every 15 minutes.
  • When the pork is done, slice and serve with white rice and bok choy.

1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 cup chicken broth

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375.
  • Season the pork and place in a roasting pan.( consider browning on all sides).
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the honey, juice, oil and thyme.
  • Pour over the pork.
  • Add the broth to the pan.
  • Bake until internal temperature reaches 150 (45-60 minutes).
  • Baste frequently.

2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons paprika

2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 (3 pound) pork tenderloin
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Steps:

  • Mix garlic, onion, and chili powders with paprika and salt. Rub mixture all over pork tenderloin.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium-high heat. Add pork and sear until golden brown on all sides, about 2 minutes per side. Wrap tenderloin in aluminum foil.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate. Grill the pork in its foil for 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, mix balsamic vinegar, honey, mustard together with the remaining olive oil. Unwrap pork on the grill and liberally brush the glaze on all sides. Continue grilling, brushing on more glaze, until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center reads 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), about 10 minutes more.

1/2-1 1/2 kg boneless pork loin
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon granulated garlic (or two cloves fresh crushed)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 limes, juice of
1 lemon, juice of
salt and pepper, as desired
1/4 cup lime juice or 1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup cinnamon honey (or 1/4 cup regular honey and 1/2 tsp cinnamon)
1 teaspoon chipotle chili flakes

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients for paste/rub and smear over pork loin.
  • Leave to sit 8 hours or overnight.
  • Mix ingredients for the basting sauce.
  • To prepare barbecue, set a shallow pan of water on the coals to cover half the barbecue. Preheat barbecue on high.
  • Place the marinated loin over the pan and turn off heat under the pan, but set at medium on other half of barbecue.
  • Cook meat for 1.5 to 2 hours turning occasionally. Brush Basting Sauce over loin during the final 20 minutes or so of cooking. Cook until meat is 150-155°F.
  • Let stand for 10 minutes, slice and serve.
