  1. puree the garlic
  2. melt the butter in a large skillet
  3. wash the clams
  4. place the clams into the skillet until they open cover with lid on medium flame
  5. add the rest of the ingredients reducing flame cover for 5 mins
  6. eat alone or with linguini
