A great use for leftover coffee with a little coffee liqueur for an added kick. Makes a nice 'adult' beverage.

2 cups strong brewed coffee, room temperature
2 cups skim milk
2 cups ice cubes
3 fluid ounces coffee-flavored liqueur
2 (.55 ounce) packages hot cocoa mix
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
ice cubes, for serving

Steps:

  • Blend coffee, milk, 2 cups ice cubes, coffee-flavored liqueur, cocoa mix, sugar, and vanilla extract in a blender until smooth and frothy.
  • Fill 6 glasses with ice cubes; pour blended coffee mixture over ice.

12 cups water (spring water, preferably)
1 cup sugar
1 quart half-and-half
1 quart milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Brew coffee using 12 cups of water. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Stir in half-and-half, milk, and vanilla; chill.
  • Serve over ice.
  • NOTE: Add brandy for an after-dinner drink or ice cream for a sipping dessert.
