A quick, single serving of cake that can be made using any of your favorite flavors. Great, easy recipe for kids to make for themselves. You can get creative with flavors here. Add in cocoa powder, your favorite flavor extract, or a couple teaspoons of your favorite pie filling. Go nuts!

Steps:
- Stir 1 tablespoon softened butter and white sugar together in a coffee mug until fluffy; stir egg, sour cream, and vanilla extract into the butter mixture. Add 1/4 cup flour and baking powder into the mixture; stir until smooth.
- Mix 2 tablespoons flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon together in a bowl. Mash 1 tablespoon butter into the flour mixture with a fork or pastry cutter until mixture is crumbly; sprinkle over the cake batter in the mug.
- Cook in microwave oven on high for 1 minute. Continue cooking in 10-second intervals until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.

Steps:
- Gather the ingredients.
- To make the streusel topping, combine the chopped pecans, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Cut the butter into small cubes and press into the flour mixture with a fork until it resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside in the refrigerator while making the cake.
- To make the cake, put the cake mix and the water into a 12-ounce mug. Use a fork to stir them together until they are smooth.
- Microwave for 60 seconds.
- Top with the streusel topping and microwave for 60 more seconds.
- The coffee cake is done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool slightly before serving.

- Mix 2 teaspoons flour, 1 teaspoon butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon together in a bowl using your hands until the texture of lumpy sand is reached; sprinkle over batter.
- Cook in the microwave until coffeecake appears to be barely set, 50 to 80 seconds. Cool before eating.
