BING CHERRY CONGEALED SALAD

Steps:

• In a sauce pan, combine reserved cherry juice and pineapple juice to equal 1 cup. Bring to boil, add gelatin and whisk together. Remove from heat and add cream cheese and blend together until smooth.
• Add cola and beat until mixture becomes fluffy. Fold in cherries, pineapple, and nuts. Pour into molded container, chill 6 to 8 hours or until firm.

CHERRY COKE SALAD

Steps:

• Drain pineapple, reserving juice; set fruit aside. In a saucepan or microwave, bring pineapple juice and water to a boil. Add gelatin; stir until dissolved. Stir in pie filling and cola. , Pour into a serving bowl. Refrigerate until slightly thickened. Fold in reserved pineapple. Refrigerate until firm.

THE REAL COCA-COLA SALAD

Steps:

• Use Juices from fruit instead of water to make jello-- once it's hot, add Coke.
• Put in Mixing bowl and add cream cheese, fruit, and nuts.
• Pour into mold and allow it to set.

CONGEAL SALAD

Steps:

• Prepare gelatin according to package directions, substituting 1 cup cold water with 1 cup crushed ice. Place gelatin into freezer until almost congealed.
• Place cream cheese in a bowl and beat until smooth. Fold cream cheese into gelatin. Add cottage cheese, fruit cocktail, pineapple, oranges, apples, banana, cherries and walnuts. Mix well.
• Pour into mold or dish and refrigerate until completely set.

BING CHERRY AND CREAM CHEESE CONGEALED SALAD

Steps:

• Bring cherry juice to boiling point and add to gelatin powder in mixing bowl.
• Stir until dissolved and add Coke and lemon juice.
• Chill until partially set.
• Cut cheese into small dice or roll into small balls, and fold along with toasted nuts and cherries into chilled gelatin.
• Pour into mold or serving dish and chill until firm.
• NOTE: Cooking time refers to chilling time.

DREMA'S COCA-COLA CONGEALED SALAD

Steps:

• Spray a glass serving dish with non-stick spray. Remove excess with paper towel. Set aside.
• In small sauce pan place all of pineapple and juice along with JUST the juice of cherries. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add jello's. Stir until melted thoroughly. Add cream cheese by mashing in. Mix thoroughly until cream cheese is dissolved. Allow mixture to thoroughly cool. (Approximately 30 minutes)
• Once mixture is cool, add the coke, cherry pieces and nuts. Stir gently. Refrigerate overnite. Enjoy. You can serve from the dish or cut in squares and lift out to your favorite serving platter on some nice greens. *Optional - great with a whipped topping.
