Continental Chicken Recipe Dried Beef

COMPANY CHICKEN WITH DRIED BEEF

Steps:

• In large casserole dish, place a layer of dried beef slices, slightly overlapping each other.
• Wrap a slice of bacon around each chicken breast and place on top of dried beef.
• In a saucepan, heat together the cream cheese, sour cream, and undiluted mushroom soup.
• Heat through until cream cheese is partially melted.
• Pour sauce over chicken.
• Sprinkle each breast with paprika.
• Cover and bake for 2 hours at 350.
• When serving, spoon soup mixture over each chicken breast and serve extra soup mixture in gravy boat or pitcher.

CHICKEN, BACON, AND DRIED BEEF CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Gather the ingredients and heat the oven to 300 F/150 C/Gas 2.
• Wrap 1 strip of bacon around a chicken breast half. Repeat with the remaining halves.
• Line a large, lightly buttered casserole or baking dish with the dried beef.
• Place the 8 chicken breast halves on the chipped beef in the casserole dish.
• In a bowl, stir together the sour cream and soup until well blended; pour over the chicken.
• Sprinkle lightly with freshly ground black pepper.
• Bake slowly, at 300 F for 2 hours, or until chicken is cooked and bacon is crispy.
• Serve and enjoy.

CHICKEN CONTINENTAL

Steps:

• In a large skillet, brown the chicken and mushrooms in butter or margarine. Stir in the soup, water, parsley, salt and a dash of ground black pepper. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
• Stir in uncooked rice and simmer for an additional 10 minutes, or until liquid has been absorbed.

CONTINENTAL CHICKEN

Steps:

• Spray slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Place dried beef in bottom of slow cooker. Wrap each piece of chicken with one bacon strip and place on top of dried beef.
• Combine soup, flour and sour cream in medium bowl until smooth. Pour over chicken and sprinkle with mushroom pieces and red onion.
• Cover, cook on LOW 7-9 hours or on HIGH 3-4 hours.
• Serve over pasta and top off with a couple of teaspoons of pasta water.

CROCK POT CONTINENTAL CHICKEN - A SLOW COOKER CHICKEN BACON SOUR CREAM RECIPE

Steps:

• Spray crock pot insert with nonstick cooking spray (regular and casserole crock pot). Line bottom of the insert with dried beef.
• Wrap each chicken breast with 1 - 2 slices bacon. Arrange on top of dried beef.
• In a small bowl, mix sour cream and flour until smooth; stir in cream of mushroom soup.
• Pour over chicken breasts.
• Cover and cook on high for 3 - 4 hours or low for 6 - 8 hours or until chicken is cooked through. Internal temperature should be 165 degrees F.
• Serve over buttered noodles or cooked rice.

CONTINENTAL CHICKEN

Steps:

• Dredge chicken pieces in flour until well coated. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat and brown coated chicken pieces slowly in hot oil.
• Meanwhile, combine reserved mushroom liquid with the tomatoes, soy sauce and garlic in a large saucepan and stir together. Add browned chicken and onion and stir together; cover saucepan and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and tender.
• Stir in mushrooms and olives and bring all to a boil; serve hot, coating with additional soy sauce if desired.
