  1. elbow macaroni
  2. flour
  3. salt
  4. black pepper
  5. nonfat milk
  6. reduced-fat cream cheese
  7. dijon mustard
  8. worcestershire sauce
  9. garlic
  10. reduced-fat cheddar cheese


  1. cook pasta according to package directions , omitting salt and fat
  2. drain and set aside
  3. while the pasta cooks , place flour , salt , and pepper in a large saucepan
  4. add milk , stirring with a whisk until well blended
  5. drop cream cheese by teaspoonfuls into milk mixture
  6. bring to a boil over medium-high heat , stirring constantly
  7. reduce heat
  8. simmer 2 minutes or until thick and cream cheese melts , stirring occasionally
  9. stir in mustard , worcestershire , and garlic
  10. simmer 1 minute
  11. remove from heat
  12. add cheddar cheese , stirring until cheese melts
  13. combine pasta and cheese sauce in a large bowl
  14. toss well
