Quick and healthy baked cornflake chicken nuggets will take dinner time in your house to the next level. They're crispy, easy to make and most importantly delicious! Loved by kids and adults alike.

4 Chicken Breasts (cut into bite size chunks)
125 g Cornflakes (crushed)
25 g Parmesan (grated)
½ tsp Dried Thyme
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
2 Eggs (beaten)
3 tbsp Plain Flour

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 200°c (180 fan/ 350F/ Gas 4) and line two baking trays with baking paper.
  • Mix the crushed cornflakes with the Parmesan, dried thyme, smoked paprika and a little salt and pepper, in a shallow bowl.
  • Coat each piece of chicken first in the flour, then egg, before finally rolling in the crushed cornflake mix.
  • Place each piece of crumbed chicken onto the baking sheet. When all the chicken has been coated, bake in the oven for 20 minutes until crispy and golden. Turn each piece of chicken after 10 minutes, to ensure all bits of the crumb are crispy.

chicken breasts
Corn Flakes
salt, pepper, paprika, dried onion, garlic powder
soy sauce
1 egg and herbs of your choice (I used an Italian mix)

Steps:

  • Pre-heat the oven to 180°C, lay a baking tray with baking paper.Cut the chicken into smaller pieces. Marinate it in a splash of soy sauce and seasoning for about 30 minutes.Beat an egg with herbs of your choice in a bowl or a deep plate.Prepare a flat plate and put some Corn Flakes on it, crushing them in your hand.Dip each piece of chicken in the egg, then roll it in Corn flakes. Place it on the baking tray lined with baking paper.Bake for 30 minutes, turning the nuggets around in the middle (after 15 minutes).

These cornflake chicken nuggets are oven baked so they are juicy and tender on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside.

12.35 ounces chicken breast (approx. 2 chicken breasts, skinless and boneless)
2½ cups cornflakes (2.47oz)
4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
1 large egg (lightly beaten)
4 tablespoons flour (for coating)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Sea salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Place the cornflakes in a food processor and pulse until they are the size of coarse breadcrumbs (take care not to overblend and turn them into powder). Alternatively place your cornflakes in a large plastic bag (ziplock or similar) and bash with a rolling pin.Add the breadcrumbs and 2 teaspoons of oil into the cornflakes and pulse briefly just to combine. Place in a bowl and set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 400 F/ 200 C/190 C fan/ gas mark 6.Place the flour and egg wash in separate dishes.Cut the chicken breasts into similar sized chunks. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Coat each nugget in the flour (gently shake off excess flour).
  • Dip each piece in the egg wash, gently wipe excess egg on the side of the bowl and coat in the crumb mixture lightly pressing into the crumb for even coverage (do this for each piece individually).
  • Arrange your cornflake nuggets on top of a rack, evenly spaced out, and bake in the centre of the oven for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and serve!

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Stir milk, egg, flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl.

1 cup crushed cornflakes
1 cup all-purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
4 chicken drumsticks (4 ounces each), skin removed
4 bone-in chicken thighs (about 1-1/2 pounds), skin removed
3/4 cup egg substitute

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°. Drizzle butter in a 13x9-in. baking dish. In a shallow bowl, combine the cornflakes, flour and seasoned salt. Place egg substitute in another shallow bowl. Dip chicken in egg substitute, then roll in cornflake mixture. Repeat., Arrange chicken in prepared dish, meatier side down. Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes. ½ pound skinless, boneless chicken breast
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon adobo seasoning
½ teaspoon granulated garlic
2 cups corn flakes cereal
1 teaspoon taco seasoning mix
1 serving cooking spray

Steps:

  • Trim chicken breast of any visible fat and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • Combine flour, adobo seasoning, and garlic in a resealable plastic bag. Shake well. Add chicken pieces and toss to coat. Refrigerate, 8 hours to overnight.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 5 minutes.
  • Add cornflakes to the bowl of a food processor and process to the texture of flour, about 20 seconds. Measure out 1/2 cup. Season cornflake 'flour' with taco seasoning and mix well. Transfer into a resealable plastic bag and add seasoned chicken. Shake well. Transfer chicken pieces to the air fryer basket. Lightly coat with cooking spray.
  • Air fry for 5 minutes. Shake the basket and spray chicken again with cooking spray. Air fry for 5 minutes more. Serve immediately.

1 cup corn flakes, coarsely crushed
1 dash garlic powder

Steps:

  • Combine chicken and BBQ sauce in bowl.
  • Crush corn flakes in zipper bag.
  • Season with garlic powder.
  • Shake sauce coated chicken a couple of pieces at a time in zipper bag with crushed corn flakes Bake on baking sheet at 350 for 25 minutes or until done.
  • Serve with BBQ sauce for dipping.
