LOW SODIUM CORNBREAD WITH HONEY
An easy Low-Sodium Cornbread recipe that tastes so great you will find yourself making it more and more often. Another simple way to shave off unneeded sodium points!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400°F and spray a small (8" or 9") baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Whisk together the dry ingredients in large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, oil, honey and egg.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, lightly stirring just until combined and wet.
- Pour batter in prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Serve warm with butter and honey.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, sugar, soda and salt. Stir in yogurt and eggs. Do not over mix, stir only until well blended. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until center of the bread springs back when gently pressed.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Grease 8 inch square pan and set side.
- In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients.
- In a medium bowl, whisk sour cream, milk and eggs together.
- Quickly stir in butter.
- Pour liquid mixture over dry ingredients.
- Stir with rubber spatula just to blend.
- DO NOT OVER MIX.
- Scrape batter into pan.
- Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool and cut into squares.

- Heat a 9-inch iron skillet in the oven for 10 minutes. Melt butter in skillet and brush over sides of skillet. Pour excess butter into a large bowl. Whisk buttermilk and eggs into excess butter.
- Mix sugar, baking soda, cornmeal, whole-wheat flour, and salt in another bowl. Whisk cornmeal mixture and frozen corn into buttermilk mixture. Scrape cornbread mixture into skillet.
