PEANUT BUTTER CORNFLAKE BARS

Steps:

• In a large saucepan, combine peanut butter, sugar and corn syrup. Cook and stir over medium-low heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat; stir in cereal. Spread into a greased 13x9-in. pan; press lightly. Let stand until set, about 1 hour.

CORN FLAKE PEANUT BUTTER CANDY

Steps:

• Bring sugar and syrup to a boil. Remove from heat and add peanut butter,stir until well blended. Pour peanut butter mixture over cornflakes in a large bowl. Stir lightly until cornflakes are well coated. Spoon out onto wax paper and let cool.

Steps:

• Heat sugar and corn syrup just to boil.
• Remove from heat.
• Stir in peanut butter.
• Add corn flakes; mix together.
• Press in pan.
• When cool, cut into squares.

Gradually add corn flakes, 1 cup at a time, while mixing. Remove from heat, then spoon mixture onto wax paper, or aluminum foil, and let cool completely. **The official recipe calls for 6 cups of corn flakes, but you can use anywhere from 4-6 cups depending on how much you'd like to make and how crunchy or "gooey" you'd like your candy {use more cornflakes for more crunch}. For these pictures, we only used 4 cups of corn flakes, so keep that in mind when making yours.
