1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 can (6 ounces) crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
Paprika
Assorted crackers or vegetables

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients. To serve chilled, cover and refrigerate until serving. Sprinkle with paprika., To serve warm, spoon into a greased 3-cup baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 15 minutes or until heated through. Serve with crackers or vegetables.

3 to 3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
2 tablespoons olive oil
TOPPING:
2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
2 cans (6 ounces each) crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed or 2 cups chopped imitation crabmeat
1/4 cup whole milk
1 cup crumbled feta cheese
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese, divided

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine 1-1/2 cups flour, yeast, sugar and salt. In a saucepan, heat water and oil to 120°-130°. Add to dry ingredients; beat on medium speed for 3 minutes. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. , Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour., Punch dough down; divide in half. On a floured surface, roll each piece into a 13-in. circle; transfer to two 12-in. pizza pans. Build up edge slightly. Prick dough thoroughly with a fork. , Bake crusts at 450° for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Combine the cream cheese, crab, milk, feta cheese, basil, oregano, and garlic powder; spread mixture over each crust. Sprinkle each with 1/2 cup Swiss cheese. Bake 10-12 minutes longer or until crust is golden and cheese is melted. Cut into wedges.

½ teaspoon corn meal
1 pre-baked pizza crust
3 tablespoons butter
½ onion, minced
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (8 ounce) package imitation crabmeat, chopped
1 tomato, chopped
1 cup whole kernel corn
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
dried Italian seasoning, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a pizza pan and sprinkle corn meal into pan.
  • Poke several holes into pizza crust and place into the prepared pizza pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until crust is heated through, about 5 minutes. Remove crust and turn oven heat down to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat; cook and stir onion and garlic in hot butter until onion is tender, about 5 minutes. Stir basil, oregano, and Parmesan cheese into onion and garlic. Spread onion mixture evenly over pizza crust; top with 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Heat imitation crab in the saucepan over medium-high heat until warmed through, about 2 minutes. Sprinkle imitation crab over pizza, followed by tomato and corn kernels. Top pizza with remaining 1 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese. Season with Italian seasoning.
  • Bake in the hot oven until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown, 10 to 20 minutes.

2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 onion, minced
1 bottle chili sauce
1 can crab meat, drained and flaked
2 tablespoons parsley

Steps:

  • Cream first 5 ingredients together and spread in circle on a 12" plate or platter. Pour chili sauce on top and spread over surface. Sprinkle crab meat on top of sauce, then sprinkle entire pizza with parsley. Refrigerate 3 hours before serving. Serve with crackers. Variation: use canned or chopped shrimp in place of the crab

It can be prepared ahead and stored in the refrigerator, just be sure to take it out a little in advance to allow the cream cheese to soften a bit.

10 ounces hot dog chili sauce
6 1/2 ounces of white crabmeat (drained)

Steps:

  • Mix softened cream cheese with dash of Worcestershire Sauce until color approximately matches the color of pizza dough.
  • Spread mixture in 8" pie dish to form the pizza crust.
  • Top the "crust" with hot dog chili sauce (about 1/2 the can) to make the pizza sauce.
  • Next spread the crabmeat on top of the pizza sauce as the "cheese".
  • Finally sprinkle lightly with parsley flakes to add a dash of color.

  • Heat oven to 200C, Gas 6, 400 F
  • Spread cream cheese on flatbread, sprinkle with green onions, flake crab into smaller pieces and place on top of cream cheese/onion mixture. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes directly on your oven rack (or grill) until cheese is melted and crust is crispy.
  • Drizzle/dot sweet and sour sauce around the top. (I usually just dip a fork into jarred sauce and drizzle onto pizza)
