Ingredients:

  1. all-purpose flour
  2. cornmeal
  3. sugar
  4. baking powder
  5. salt
  6. butter
  7. milk
  8. dried sweetened cranberries

Steps:

  1. preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. grease a large cookie sheet
  3. combine flour , cornmeal , sugar , baking powder and salt in medium bowl and stir until mixed
  4. cut butter into flour mixture with a pastry blender until coarse crumbs form
  5. add milk and stir with fork just until a sticky dough forms
  6. gently stir sweetened dried cranberries into dough
  7. turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently about 10 times
  8. pat dough into a -inch thick circle
  9. cut out dough circles with 2 -inch biscuit cutter and place on cookie sheet
  10. bake 14 to 18 minutes or until golden brown
  11. serve warm or at room temperature
