1 cup honey
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1 stick unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch pieces, at room temperature
1 large egg, at room temperature
3 cups crispy brown rice cereal, such as Nature's Path Crispy Rice
1 cup sweetened dried cranberries, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted, coarsely chopped
One 4-ounce chocolate bar, finely grated

Steps:

Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Set aside.
Whisk the honey, vanilla, butter and egg together in a 5-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in the rice cereal, cranberries and almonds until combined. Let the mixture cool for 45 minutes.
Place the grated chocolate in a small bowl.
Firmly press the rice mixture together into 36 balls, each about 1-inch in diameter, using slightly damp hands. Roll the cookies in the chocolate until coated and place on the prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate for 1 hour until firm.

1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
1/2 cup sugar
1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (6 ounce) can evaporated milk (2/3 cup)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Steps:

In saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and 1/2 cup water. Bring to boil; simmer for 3 minutes, or until cranberries are tender but hold their shape.
Drain, reserving 2 tbsp. syrup.
Melt chocolate with milk; stir till smooth. Add vanilla.
Stir in remaining ingredients, cranberries, and reserved syrup.
Pat in well-greased 9x9x2-inch baking dish. Chill till firm. Cut in squares.

Cran-Rosemary Sparkler
For each drink, muddle 4 cranberries, 1 sprig rosemary and 3/4 ounce maple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add 2 ounces gin and 3/4 ounce each cranberry juice and sweet vermouth. Add ice and shake vigorously, then strain into a chilled coupe glass. Top with champagne; garnish with rosemary.
Cranberry Kir Royale
For each drink, combine 1 ounce cranberry juice and 1/2 ounce creme de cassis in a flute. Add a cranberry and top with champagne.
NYC Cosmopolitan
For each drink, combine 1 1/4 ounces each vodka and simple syrup, 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice and 1/4 ounce each citrus vodka, orange liqueur and cranberry juice in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously, then strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with an orange twist.

1 (16 ounce) can jellied sieved cranberry sauce
1 cup sugar
2 (3 ounce) packages orange Jell-O or 2 (3 ounce) packages red Jell-O
2/3 cup coarsely chopped nuts

Steps:

Beat sugar and cranberry sauce together in sauce pan.
Melt and bring to a boil over moderate heat and add jello.
Stir until dissolved.
Add nuts.
Pour into lightly oiled 9x5x3 pan.
Refrigerate until firm.
Cut into small 1 to 1 1/2 pieces and roll in granulated sugar.
Let stand at room temperature to dry.
After 24 hours sugar again.
You may add 1 1/2 pkg Knox gelatin for stiffer candy.
