½ (16 ounce) box penne pasta
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 ¾ cups cubed fully cooked ham
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup milk
1 spreadable cheese wedge
1 teaspoon instant vegetable bouillon granules
freshly ground black pepper to taste
10 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add penne and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 11 minutes. Drain.
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Grease a baking dish.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat while penne are cooking and saute ham until lightly browned and crisp, about 5 minutes. Pour in heavy cream and milk and cook until almost simmering. Add cheese wedge and melt in the sauce. Season with bouillon and pepper. Add penne and mix well. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and cover with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until cheese is melted and slightly browned, about 20 minutes.

8 oz Pasta, prepared and drained
1 Tbsp Olive oil
1 pat Butter
2 Spring onions, sliced - white and green parts divided
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1/2 cup Heavy cream
Fresh ground pepper, to taste
1 - 4 oz. Can of sliced mushrooms
1 cup Diced ham
1/2 cup Chopped tomato
Fresh grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Steps:

  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil together.
  • Add the white part of the spring onions and sauté until tender.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook an additional 2 minutes.
  • Add the heavy cream and fresh ground pepper, 15-20 cranks.
  • Add the mushrooms and ham to the pan and heat through.
  • Lastly, add in the chopped tomato and green onion tops. Combine well and heat through.
  • Add in the well-drained pasta and toss to coat and combine. Make sure all of the ingredients are well combined.
  • Serve with fresh grated Parmesan cheese.

1 hot pepper
1 large tomatoes or 10 cherry tomatoes, if you like
150 g ham (sliced or chopped)
200 g tinned peas

500g bag farfalle
50g butter, plus a little extra
200g small mushroom, halved
bunch spring onions, finely sliced
50g plain flour
500ml milk
140g thickly cut ham, chopped
140g mature cheddar, grated

Steps:

  • Cook the pasta according to pack instructions, then drain. Heat oven to 200C/fan 180C/gas 6, then melt a little butter in a large saucepan. Fry the mushrooms for a couple of mins, then scoop out and set aside. Use some kitchen paper to wipe out the pan.
  • Melt the remaining butter in the pan, then add most of the onions and soften for 1 min. Stir in the flour for another min, then gradually stir in the milk until you have a lump-free sauce. Increase the heat and bubble the sauce, stirring for a few mins to thicken. Turn off the heat, stir in the ham and most of the cheese, then season to taste.
  • Tip the pasta and mushrooms into a large ovenproof dish, then pour over the sauce and mix well in the dish. Scatter over the remaining cheese and spring onions, then bake for 10 mins until golden.
