Steps:
- Cut cheese into cubes then place into a mini slow cooker.
- Pour in milk, butter, diced green chiles, jalapenos, taco seasoning and garlic powder.
- Give it all a gentle stir and put the lid on.
- Turn it on low for about 2 hours.
- Stir occasionally. Then serve when cheese is completely melted.

Steps:
- Spray a large slow-cooker with nonstick cooking spray and set the temperature to HIGH.
- Add the tomatoes, milk, lime juice, cheeses and cilantro; mix well.
- Place the lid on top of the slow-cooker.
- Place the oil, onions and jalapeno peppers in a medium skillet set over medium heat. Sauté the vegetables until tender and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add cumin, red pepper flakes and chili powder; stir well and cook an additional 30 seconds, stirring continuously.
- Add the sautéed vegetables to the cheese mixture and stir well.
- Replace the lid leaving it slightly ajar. Stir the cheese several times until the cheese is completely melted, about 30 minutes.
- Lower the temperature to WARM and stir about every 15-20 minutes. If needed, add a little evaporated milk if it thickens during warming.
- Serve with your favorite chips/vegetables/crackers.

- Cover and cook on high for 30-40 minutes and stir
- Recover and cook for an additional 15-30 minutes (this depends on how hot your slow cooker cooks), stirring occasionally
- When your cheese is completely melted and all ingredients are combined completely, serve with tortilla chips

This is my take on Queso Blanco. When I was making some, following a recipe, I didn't feel it was creamy enough so I added cream cheese. The result was a wonderfully creamy, spicy white cheese dip for tortilla chips that my family and neighbors just loved! Best of all, it can be made in a crock pot. (Cooking time may vary depending on how quickly your crock pot heats up.)

- Prep (slice, dice, chop, open) your ingredients, once you start the recipe you need to stir continually.
