1 pound ground beef
1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 cups barbecue sauce
1 can (16 ounces) butter beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15-3/4 ounces) pork and beans
1 can (15-1/2 ounces) navy beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
2 medium onions, chopped
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons ground mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a Dutch oven, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Bake, uncovered, until heated through, 50-60 minutes.

3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 shallot, minced (use small or it will overpower)
1 garlic clove, minced
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
1/2 cup olive oil
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Whisk vinegar, Parmesan, shallot, garlic, oregano and pepper flakes in small bowl. Microwave until cheese is melted (vinegar will look cloudy) and mixture is fragrant, about 30 seconds. Let cool.
  • Process mayo, sour cream, basil, and vinegar mixture in food processor until smooth. With motor running, slowly add oil until incorporated, about 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper. Serve. (Dressing can be refrigerated in airtight container for 4 days.).

This is so good--try it with the country bush's baked beans or the honey bush's baked beans it turns out great but different with either one. Cattlemens is the choice barbecue sauce to use in the flavor of your choice, or another good thick flavorful barbecue sauce

16 ounces baked beans, 1 can
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 cups original Bisquick baking mix
2/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine, softened
1/2 cup cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef and drain, preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Stir baked beans and barbecue sauce into beans heat to boiling while stirring, pour into sprayed 2 quart casserole dish.
  • Stir Bisquick mix, milk, and butter until dough forms. Drop by spoonfuls onto beef mixture.
  • Bake uncovered 20 minutes until topping is golden brown.
  • Sprinkle with cheese and cook about 3 minutes more or until cheese is melted (I like to let the cheese get a little crisp).

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup sour cream
4 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
2 cups frozen sweet corn, thawed and drained
1 (14 ounce) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes with green chiles
1 (4 ounce) can diced Hatch green chiles
½ cup diced fresh jalapeño peppers
½ cup sliced green onions
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
2 tablespoons grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Place sausages in a dry pan over medium heat until they start to sizzle. Use a spoon or flat wooden spatula to break them up as they cook. Continue to cook until browned and crumbly, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from the heat. Drain grease if desired.
