CREEPY MINI PIZZAS

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
• Combine 2 cups flour, undissolved yeast, sugar and salt in a large bowl. Add very warm water and oil; mix until well blended, about 1 minute.
• Gradually add enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Dough should form a ball and will be slightly sticky. Knead** on a floured surface, adding additional flour if necessary, until smooth and elastic, about 4 minutes. Divide dough into 8 portions; cover. (If using RapidRise Yeast, let dough rise at this point for 10 minutes.)
• Pat each portion of dough with floured hands into an 8-inch circle on a greased baking sheet. Form a rim by pinching the edge of the dough. Add a second crust to the same baking sheet.
• Bake for 6 to 7 minutes, dough will be just set and only lightly browned on the bottom. Remove crusts to a wire rack to cool. Continue with remaining pizza dough. (Works best to use several baking sheets.) May use crusts immediately or place in freezer bags and freeze for up to 1 month.
• When ready to bake, preheat oven to 475 degrees F. Spread each crust with pizza sauce. Top with desired toppings to make Halloween designs! Repeat with remaining pizzas. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 6 to 8 minutes, until cheese is melted and lightly browned and bottom of crust is browned.

CREEPY CRAWLERS

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
• Combine sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl. Roll pie dough onto a work surface and cut each circle into 16 wedges. Lightly spread butter onto each piece of dough stopping about 1/2 inch from the edge. Place 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon miniature chocolate chips on the buttered portion of the dough pieces.
• Lightly moisten the point of each wedge with water and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Roll each wedge from the outside toward the point, creating a croissant-shape; pinch edges closed.
• Beat egg white in a bowl, adding enough food coloring to reach desired color. Dip the top of each croissant-shaped dough in egg white mixture and place onto the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle each with cinnamon-sugar and top with sprinkles. Place 2 miniature chocolate chips on 1 end of each for the "eyes".
• Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes.

CREEPY CANDIED CORN

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 250°. Pop popcorn according to manufacturer's directions. Transfer to two very large bowls; discard any unpopped kernels., In a large heavy saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir 3 minutes., Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and, if desired, food coloring. Pour over popcorn and toss to coat. Spread in a single layer on greased 15x10x1-in. baking pans., Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Remove from pans and place on waxed paper to cool. Break into clusters. Store in airtight containers.
