Crisp Apple Bake Recipe

Time: 15 minutes



  1. apples
  2. quick-cooking oats
  3. brown sugar
  4. flour
  5. cinnamon
  6. butter


  1. preheat oven to 350
  2. grease 8x8 baking pan or spray with cooking spray
  3. mix oats , brown sugar , flour and cinnamon together
  4. cut in butter with a pastry cutter until the mixture is crumbly and the butter is well incorporated
  5. save 3 / 4 cup of this mixture for topping
  6. line greased pan with remaining oat mixture
  7. press down firmly
  8. arrange apples on top of oat mixutre
  9. sprinkle remaining 3 / 4 cup oat mixture of top
  10. press down slightly
  11. bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes
  12. can be served warm , but let it cool awhile before serving
  13. also very good served chilled
