2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup chives-and-onion cream cheese spread (from 8-oz container)
1 package (5 oz) frozen cooked salad shrimp, thawed, well drained
1/4 cup Chinese plum sauce
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Place 12 wonton wrappers side by side on sheet of waxed paper. Brush both sides of wrappers with 1 tablespoon oil. Pleat edges of wrappers; place in 12 ungreased mini muffin cups, pressing in bottom and up sides. Repeat with remaining wonton wrappers, oil and additional 12 mini muffin cups.
  • Bake 5 to 8 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
  • Stir cream cheese to soften. Spoon 1 teaspoon cream cheese into each cup. Top each with 3 to 5 shrimp.
  • Bake 1 minute longer or until cream cheese is soft. Remove wontons from pan; place on serving platter. Top each with 1/2 teaspoon plum sauce. Sprinkle with chives.

12 wonton wrappers
1 cup peeled and deveined shrimp
½ cup diced water chestnuts
⅓ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup chopped green onion, divided
2 teaspoons sesame oil
½ teaspoon finely chopped fresh ginger
salt to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray; line cups with 1 wonton wrapper each.
  • Combine shrimp, water chestnuts, mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons green onions, sesame oil, ginger, and salt in a bowl. Spoon mixture into the wonton wrappers.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until edges are dark brown, about 18 minutes. Remove wontons from muffin tin; garnish with the remaining green onions.

1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
2 tablespoons curry powder
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
2 egg whites
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
Lime wedges, for garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • In a food processor, pulse the coconut until coarsely ground and transfer to a shallow bowl. Mix coconut with bread crumbs, curry powder, and salt, and set aside. Beat egg whites until slightly foamy. Dip shrimp in egg whites and coat with coconut mixture. Repeat to form a double coating. Place shrimp on rack placed within a sheet pan and bake for 10 minutes. Garnish with lime wedges and serve.

10 ounces medium shrimp, chopped
2 green onions, chopped
1/3 cup grated carrot
4 ounces cream cheese, softened (use the full-fat kind)
1 clove garlic
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Put wontons in mini muffin tins.
  • Brush lightly with butter.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes, until slightly golden brown.
  • Mix remaining ingredients.
  • Spoon into wontons.
  • Put all on a serving tray and microwave 1 minute before serving.

8 canned water chestnuts, finely chopped
¼ cup finely chopped green onions
1 tablespoon Kikkoman Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
1 (16 ounce) package wonton skins
Vegetable oil for deep-frying
Tomato ketchup and hot mustard or Kikkoman Sweet & Sour Sauce

Steps:

  • Combine pork, water chestnuts, green onions, soy sauce, cornstarch, salt and ginger in medium bowl; mix well. Place 1/2 teaspoonful pork mixture in center of each wonton skin. Fold wonton skin over filling to form a triangle. Turn top of triangle down to meet fold. Turn over; moisten 1 corner with water. Overlap opposite corner over moistened corner; press together firmly.
  • Heat oil in wok or large saucepan over medium-high heat to 375 degrees F. Deep-fry wontons, a few at a time, 2 to 3 minutes, or until brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels. Serve warm with ketchup and mustard or sweet & sour sauce, as desired.
