CREAMY ITALIAN SLOW COOKER CHICKEN
A creamy, yummy chicken dish to serve over thick pasta, like egg noodles or farfalle. This pleased everyone! It's easy to prepare and highly addictive. Easy to make lower calorie/fat with low fat cream cheese and low fat/salt soup! Serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Steps:
- Rinse chicken, and pat dry with paper towels. Place chicken breasts into a slow cooker, and drizzle melted butter all over the chicken breasts, lifting them up to allow butter to flow underneath the chicken. Cover the cooker, set to High, and cook until tender, 4 to 5 hours. With a metal spatula, chop up the chicken into bite-size pieces in the slow cooker.
- Place the cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, Italian salad dressing mix, and sherry into a saucepan over medium heat, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until the cream cheese has melted and the sauce is well combined. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker; cover, and cook on High until the flavors have blended and the sauce is bubbling, about 30 more minutes.

CROCK POT CREAMY ITALIAN CHICKEN - WEIGHT WATCHERS

- Spray crock pot with non-stick spray. Place the chicken breasts in crock pot, and sprinkle the Italian dressing mix over the top. Pour the cream of chicken soups over chicken, and then spread the cubes of cream cheese evenly over all.
- Cover and cook on Low heat for 6 hours. (OR on High for 3 hours) Remove lid and stir mixture together. Cut chicken into bite-size pieces. (If the sauce seems too thick, you can thin it out with a little milk or water)
- Serve chicken and sauce over cooked egg noodles or rice. Enjoy
- 3/4 cup serving size for italian chicken (not noodles)

- Gather the ingredients.
- Place the chicken breast halves in the crockery insert of a slow cooker.
- Combine salad dressing mix and water in a cup and pour it over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW for 3 hours.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the cream cheese and soup until well blended. Stir in mushrooms. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the chicken.
- Cook for 1 to 3 hours longer or until chicken is cooked through. Take care not to overcook or the chicken breasts will be dry.

Try the chicken with homemade dumplings, like my daughter begs for, but DO make the dumplings separately in a steamer or separate pan, or it will take longer than an "easy-peasy" recipe calls for!

- Place chicken in crock pot. It may be frozen if the chicken is the smaller, split and trimmed type of boneless breast.
- Cube the entire block of cream cheese and place evenly over the chicken.
- Pour the Italian dressing over the chicken and cheese, making sure to get some dressing on each part of the chicken.
- Cook on med-low, 6-8 hours.
