Slow Cooker Hawaiian Chicken is made with tender chicken tights soaked in a sweet and savory sauce that is bursting with pineapple flavors.

Steps:
- Place a large skillet over high-heat and add some oil, once hot, sear the chicken pieces until browned.
- Place the thighs in the crockpot.
- Add the rest of the ingredients on top.
- Cover with the lid on the slow cooker, and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours, or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the cornstarch slurry. Close the lid and let it cook for 30 more minutes.
- Serve it warm over some white rice and veggies on the side.

- Spray the inside of the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, lemon juice, liquid from can of pineapple and mandarin oranges, ginger, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Add the cornstarch to the mixture and whisk until it is mixed.
- Place the chicken inside the Crock Pot. Top the chicken with the mandarin oranges and pineapple slices.
- Pour the seasoning mixture over the chicken.
- Cover the Crock Pot and cook on low for 4 hours or until the chicken is done.
- Serve over rice.

Steps:
- In a skillet lightly brown chicken pieces slowly in vegetable oil. Remove from skillet and place in bottom of crock pot.
- In same skillet cook onion and celery just until tender, but not browned.
- Add remaining ingredients and simmer about 1 minute. Pour sauce over chicken in crock pot.
- Turn crock pot on high for 1st hour and then to low for 3-4 hours.
- Note: If you want sauce thicker, add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch during last 30 minutes.
- Wonderful served over buttered rice!

- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease the inside of a 9x13-inch baking dish. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and cook the onion and garlic until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the flour and whisk together for about 1 minute, this will allow the flour to cook just a little before adding the other ingredients. Add the sour cream and milk, and continue whisking until the mixture has thickened. Remove from heat and add all but ½ cup of the cheese. Add the red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper, cooked chicken, and cooked pasta. Stir together, then layer evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly over the top of the casserole and bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese on top is melted and the sauce is bubbly. Remove the casserole and let it sit for about 15 minutes prior to serving.

- Lightly season chicken with salt and pepper. Sear the chicken quickly on high heat (both sides) in a frying pan using 1 Tablespoon olive oil. Do not cook through. Then place it in the slow cooker. You can absolutely skip this step and just go straight to placing the raw chicken into the slow cooker, I just prefer to sear my chicken a bit to add that golden, grilled look!
- In a bowl, mix pineapple with juice (reserve 3 Tablespoons for later) brown sugar, vinegar, bell pepper, green onion, garlic ginger, and ketchup. Pour this mixture over the chicken
- Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. See the next step regarding the last 30 minutes of cook time.
- Mix together the reserved 3 Tablespoons of pineapple juice with the 2 Tablespoons of cornstarch. During the last 30 minutes of cook time, gently stir this into the crockpot. It will help to thicken up the sauce.
