Ingredients: all-purpose flour,unsweetened cocoa,salt,baking powder,unsalted butter,sugar,eggs,vanilla extract

Steps:

  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees f
  2. line a baking sheet with parchment
  3. in a medium bowl , whisk the flour , cocoa , salt and baking powder together
  4. in another bowl , beat butter and sugar with electric mixer until fluffy
  5. add eggs , one at a time , scraping down sides of bowl
  6. mix in vanilla
  7. gradually mix in dry ingredients
  8. when combined
  9. scrape dough onto a piece of plastic wrap and wrap tightly
  10. refrigerate 1 hour
  11. on a floured surface , roll dough to 1 / 4 inch thickness
  12. cut into desired shape using a 1 1 / 2 inch cutter , brushing extra flour off tops
  13. bake 8 to 11 minutes , until edges are firm and centers are slightly soft and puffed
  14. transfer to a wire rack to cool
