Crunchy Yet Moist Scones Recipe

  1. self raising flour
  2. caster sugar
  3. butter
  4. milk
  5. jam
  6. cream


  1. preheat oven 220 degrees
  2. sprinkle flour over flat baking tray
  3. sift flour into medium bowl
  4. add sugar
  5. using your finger
  6. add milk
  7. use a flat bladed knife to mix until dough begins to come together
  8. turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently until dough comes together
  9. flatten dough with the palm of your hand until 2cm thick
  10. use a 5cm cutter to cut out scones
  11. place onto baking tray 1cm apart
  12. bake for 14-16 minutes or until goldn and cooked through
  13. serve warm with jam and cream
