HOW TO MAKE CHEESE STICKS
These super-simple breadsticks are easy, cheesy, and there's no dough to make because we're going to use frozen puff pastry for this. They're very cool for entertaining.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Place a sheet of frozen puff pastry dough onto a floured work surface and allow dough to thaw just until it can be unfolded. Unfold dough into a flat sheet; brush top of puff pastry dough with olive oil. Season with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Sprinkle white Cheddar cheese and 1/4 cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese onto the dough, covering the surface. Top with a piece of plastic wrap; press cheese and seasonings firmly into the dough with your fingers or by laying a sheet pan onto the dough over the plastic and pressing it down.
- Remove plastic and use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut the dough down the seam lines into thirds; cut each third lengthwise into thirds for a total of 9 breadsticks.
- Pick up a dough strip, place it seasoned side down on the work surface, and twist from both ends 8 or 9 times to make a rolled tube of dough with the seasoned side out. Place breadsticks onto prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle remaining 1 tablespoon Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese over the sticks. Roll the sticks lightly to even up their shapes and pick up and press any dropped cheese onto the surfaces.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes; flip and continue baking until breadsticks are browned and crisp, 10 to 20 more minutes. If you pick up a stick by one end and it droops, bake for several more minutes. Cool on a wire rack before serving.

CRISPY CHEESE STICK RECIPE

- Preheat oil to 375 degrees F.
- Cut each egg roll wrapper in half diagonally. Cut each cheese string in half.
- Place a cheese string on each wrapper, fold in corners and roll tightly sealing the edges with water.
- Place each cheese stick in the hot oil for about 2 to 3 minutes or until brown and crispy.
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

HOMEMADE CRUNCHY CHEESE STICKS / BAGUETTE FROMAGE
Steps:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine plain flour, salt and sugar then mix well. Add the melted butter and cheese then mix with a fork or spoon until well combined.
- Add 1tbsp of water at a time (about 3 to 4tbsp in total) until a dough is formed.
- Use your hands to work the mixture until a the dough is formed. Knead the dough for 1 - 2 minutes. The dough should not be sticky or too dry. (Add extra flour if required)
- Divide the dough into 2 equal part to make it easier to roll. Using a rolling pin, flatten the dough to a ½cm thickness while also trying to keep a square shape.
- When the dough has reached the required thickness, cut and divide into equal rectangular shapes, then finally cut individual sticks out of them. Sprinkle some flour so the they don't stick together!
- Deep fry on 'medium high heat' (180C | 360F) for about 4 - 6 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool down then enjoy!
HOME-FRIED CHEESE STICKS
These is an easy, cost-efficient way to make home-made fried cheese sticks. Taste just wonderful, light crispiness. More for your dollar and easily stored in the freezer for when you have a craving. I make 2 batches, one for the 'now' and one for later. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

- Remove string cheese sticks from plastic wrappings and cut the strings in half crosswise.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place eggs in a bowl and bread crumbs into a large shallow bowl.
- Dip cheese stick halves into egg and roll in bread crumbs to completely coat the sticks; place breaded cheese sticks onto the prepared baking sheet. Allow cheese sticks to stand at room temperature for about 5 minutes to set, and repeat dipping in egg and bread crumbs to form a thick coating. Freeze breaded cheese sticks for at least 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Deep fry cheese sticks, a few at a time, until the coating is golden brown and crisp and the cheese is soft, 5 to 8 minutes. Let sticks drain on paper towels; cool slightly and serve warm.

- Preheat oven to 400°. Mix flour, cornmeal and salt. Cut in cheese and butter until crumbly. Stir in water; mix well., Divide dough in half; cover half. - Combine butter and garlic salt in a bowl. In another bowl combine the cheeses and parsley flakes. Roll each roll into a 5-inch rope. Dip in butter mixture and then roll in cheese mixture. Place on a cookie sheet and let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F 15-20 minutes. Serve warm.

- Preheat oven to 350º.
- Beat butter and cream cheese together with an electric mixer until creamy.
- Add sugar, gradually, and beat until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, and beat until blended.
- Gradually add flour and next three ingredients to butter mixture, beating at low until just blended.
- Stir in bananas, pecans, and vanilla.
- Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured 8x4 loafpans.
- Batter will be thick.
- For streusel: Stir together 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans, 1 tablespoon flour, 1 tablespoon melted butter, and 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon.
- Sprinkle mixture evenly over batter in pans.
- Bake for 1 hour or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Bread may be shielded with aluminum foil that last 15 minutes to prevent excessive browning of streusel.
- Cool in pans on wire rack for 10 minutes.
- Remove from pans and cool 30 more minutes before slicing.
- For perfect slices, cut with a serrated or electric knife after cooling.
