1 ⅓ cups French-fried onions, crushed
1 egg, beaten
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Spread crushed onions in a shallow bowl. Pour beaten egg into a separate shallow bowl.
  • Dip chicken into beaten egg, then press into crushed onions. Gently tap chicken to let loose pieces fall away. Put breaded chicken to a baking sheet.
  • Bake chicken until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 20 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup sour cream
1/3 cup French onion dip
1/3 cup coarsely crushed potato chips
1/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs

Steps:

  • Flatten chicken breasts evenly. Sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper. In a shallow bowl, combine sour cream and onion dip. In another shallow bowl, combine potato chips and bread crumbs. Dip chicken in the sour cream mixture, then potato chip mixture., Place in an 8-in. square baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until chicken juices run clear.

2 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless about 4-5 ounces each. you can take one large breast and carefully cut it into two thinner breast pieces.
1 egg, beaten
1/2 - 3/4 c crunchy onion rings, crushed
crushed red pepper or chili powder, optional
pan spray

Steps:

  • 1. Dip chicken breast (or breast pieces) into beaten egg. Then press each piece into a plate of crushed onions. Add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes or chili powder for a little extra zip!
  • 2. Spray oven-proof baking pan with pan spray. Bake chicken in 400ºF oven until no longer pink and juices run clear. About 20 minutes.

1 cut-up chicken, (3 1/2 pounds in 8 pieces)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons coarse salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1 tablespoon paprika

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place sliced onions and chicken pieces in a 9-by-13-inch baking dish or roasting pan. Drizzle with vegetable oil; season with coarse salt and ground pepper. Toss to coat.
  • Arrange chicken, skin sides up, on top of onions; sprinkle with paprika.

1 egg, beaten
1 ¼ cups panko bread crumbs
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 skinless, boneless chicken tenders, cut into 1/2-inch strips lengthwise

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
  • Place egg in a shallow dish. Place bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper into a large zip-top freezer bag and mix well. Dip 2 chicken strips into egg and then place into bread crumb mixture and shake to coat. Place coated chicken pieces onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining chicken.
