Danablu Tomatoes Recipe

  1. tomatoes
  2. golden delicious apple
  3. green olives
  4. celery
  5. danish blue cheese
  6. mayonnaise
  7. fresh parsley


  1. place a strainer over a small bowl
  2. set aside
  3. cut a 1 / 4 inch slice off top of each tomato to make lids
  4. scoop center flesh and seeds from tomatoes into strainer
  5. press through strainer
  6. set aside
  7. discard seeds
  8. invert tomato shells and lids onto paper towels
  9. let drain 10 minutes
  10. in a medium bowl , combine apple , olives , celery , and blue cheese
  11. spoon evenly into drained tomatoes
  12. stir 2 tablespoons strained tomato into mayonnaise
  13. top each filled tomato with a dollop of mayonnaise mixture
  14. serve remaining mayonnaise mixture in a small bowl
  15. top each serving with reserved lids , placed slightly to one side
  16. garnish with chopped parsley
