Dark Chocolate Fridge Squares Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. dark chocolate
  2. butter
  3. golden syrup
  4. dark rum
  5. biscuits
  6. toasted rice cereal
  7. walnuts
  8. glace cherries
  9. white chocolate

Steps:

  1. melt the dark chocolate , butter , syrup and rum in a large saucepan
  2. break up the biscuit and mix it into the chocolate mixture along with the rice cereal , nuts and cherries
  3. line a 7" square tin with parchment paper
  4. push the mixture into the tin and then chill for 2 hours
  5. when set , drizzle with melted white chocolate--optional
  6. cut into squares and watch them disappear before your very eyes !
