Deb S Dream Cabbage Recipe

Time: 20 minutes



  1. butter
  2. onion
  3. garlic clove
  4. sugar
  5. cabbage
  6. bacon
  7. black pepper
  8. cajun seasoning
  9. parmesan cheese


  1. fry or micro-cook the bacon until crisp
  2. break into pieces
  3. in a heavy skillet , combine butter , onion , garlic , and sugar
  4. cook over medium heat until onion is tender
  5. add cabbage , bacon , pepper , cajun seasoning , and parmesan
  6. saute until cabbage is just past "al dente"
  7. serve topped with additional parmesan
