Steps:
- Spray a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray; set aside.
- To a medium bowl, add the melted butter, brown sugar, and stir to combine. Mixture will have the consistency of wet sand. Scatter this mixture in the bottom of the prepared pan. You will not have complete coverage; set pan aside.
- To a large bowl, add the eggs, and lightly beat to break the yolks and combine.
- Add the milk, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, salt, and whisk to combine.
- Add the bread to the bowl and toss well, but lightly, with a spatula to evenly coat the bread in the egg-milk mixture.
- Turn bread out into the prepared pan, cover pan, and place it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or up to 12 hours overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350F and remove pan from the fridge while oven is preheating. Bake for about 25 to 30 minutes or until the caramel sauce underneath is lightly bubbling and the top of the bread is slightly crusted over and lightly browned.
- Immediately after you take the casserole dish out of the oven, place a very large serving platter over the casserole dish and invert it so the casserole 'plops' out onto the serving platter. Use caution since the casserole dish is hot and heavy.
- Using a spatula, scrape any caramel sauce from the baking dish onto the French toast casserole.
- Optionally, if desired, lightly drizzle extra caramel or salted caramel sauce over the top, and/or lightly drizzle maple syrup, and serve immediately.
- Recipe is best warm and fresh.

Steps:
- Grease a 9x12-inch baking dish.
- Stir 1 cup brown sugar and butter together in a saucepan over medium-low heat until butter melts and sugar dissolves into butter, 2 to 4 minutes. Pour into prepared baking dish and spread a 1 1/2- to 2-inch layer of bread pieces over the top.
- Beat milk, eggs, and vanilla extract together in a bowl; pour milk mixture over bread into the baking dish and move bread as necessary to ensure all bread is absorbing liquid. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate, 8 hours to overnight.
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Remove and discard plastic wrap from baking dish and sprinkle remaining brown sugar over the top of the bread mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven until browned and bubbling, about 30 minutes.

Steps:
- Spray a 13x9 baking dish liberally with cooking spray.
- Mix brown sugar, butter, & corn syrup (add a touch of cinnamon) in a saucepan and cook until bubbly. Pour into baking dish. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
- Slice French bread, layer in pan.
- Mix well in a bowl; eggs, milk and cinnamon. Pour over bread. Make sure to get some of the milk mixture on each slice.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 30 45 minutes. Invert on to serving platter or another baking dish. Enjoy!
- ***I add cinnamon to taste. I use between a teaspoon & a tablespoon for the whole recipe. I dont measure, just shake. I also cut French bread slices in half and put cut side down. You can also serve this with whipped cream & strawberries. I prefer warm syrup. I like to invert onto something I can put into the oven to help everything to set-up better & keep it warm so I can get everything else done.

Steps:
- Coarsely chop croissants; distribute evenly in greased 13X9 inch casserole dish.
- Combine cream cheese, butter, and 1/3 cup maple syrup; spread evenly over chopped croissants.
- In large bowl, beat eggs, ½ cup maple syrup, and half-and-half; pour over mixture.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, remove from refrigerator. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Uncover and bake 45 to 50 minutes or until golden. (It will be very light and puffy; let it sit for 5-10 minutes while you make the sauce; once it settles down a little, you will be able to pour the sauce and put nuts on it more easily.).
- In small saucepan, heat ½ cup butter and ½ cup maple syrup and pour over warm soufflé.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and chopped pecans.
CHALLAH FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE
Challah French toast casserole is a decadent recipe that's perfect for a weekend brunch. You prep this baked challah French toast the night before. So in the morning, brunch will be ready easily.

Steps:
- Lightly oil a 9x13 baking pan.
- Arrange the challah bread pieces evenly across the baking pan. I like to arrange it so you can see a mixture of the glossy tops of the challah bread and the cut sides of the bread.
- In a large bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom and salt.
- Gently pour the egg mixture over the challah bread pieces, covering all the pieces. The tops of some of the bread cubes might not be fully covered in the egg mixture immediately. But those bread cubes should be soaked through after you let the casserole sit for a bit.
- Cover and refrigerate. Allow the French toast casserole to sit for at least 2 hours, but it can soak overnight.
- When you are ready to bake it, preheat the oven to 350°F / 176°C. Make sure all the challah bread cubes have been soaked with the egg mixture. If any of the bread cubes are still not soaked, gently push them down a bit into the casserole.
- In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Pour the melted butter evenly across the surface of the French toast casserole. Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture across the top.
- Bake in the oven for about 50-60 minutes. To check if the French toast casserole is done, you can insert a knife in the middle and see if the casserole is set. If the casserole is browning too quickly, place it in a lower rack in the oven, or cover it with aluminum foil.
- Allow the casserole to sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
- To serve, I like to drizzle maple syrup across the entire casserole. Alternatively, you could also sprinkle powdered sugar across the top.
