  1. ice cream
  2. cookies
  3. whipping cream
  4. icing sugar
  5. candy sprinkles

Steps:

  1. transfer ice cream to bowl
  2. place in refrigerator for 1 hour or until soft enough to handle
  3. place cookies in food processor
  4. pulse until fine crumbs
  5. press crumbs into bottom and up side of 9-inch spring form pan
  6. freeze for 30 minutes
  7. scrape softened ice cream into cookie crust
  8. using back of large spoon , push ice cream down to remove any air pockets
  9. smooth top with knife or offset spatula
  10. place in freezer
  11. pour whipping cream into bowl
  12. whip with electric beaters until medium peaks form , about 2 to 3 minutes
  13. fold in sugar until combined
  14. remove cake from freezer
  15. top with whipped cream and sprinkles
  16. return to freezer for 4 to 6 hours or overnight until frozen
  17. before serving , let sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes
