Delicious Corn Chowder Recipe

Time: 55 minutes



  1. olive oil
  2. white onions
  3. celery
  4. carrot
  5. red bell peppers
  6. potatoes
  7. ground sage
  8. water
  9. light miso
  10. corn kernels
  11. green onions


  1. heat oil in soup pot
  2. add onions , celery , carrot and pepper
  3. saute until the veggies begin to soften
  4. add the potatoes and sage
  5. mix the ingredients well and saute another 3 minutes
  6. add water and bring to a boil
  7. cover and simmer over medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes , or until potatoes are tender but not mushy
  8. remove 1 / 2 cup liquid from the pot and dissolve miso in it
  9. add miso or broth to soup and mix well
  10. cook soup an additional minute , stirring continuously
  11. remove one third of soup with lots of veggies in it and set aside
  12. blend the remaining ingredients until smooth
  13. stir in the reserved soup , corn and green onion
  14. bring soup to a low boil , stirring frequently', "simmer for 10 minutes on low heat , continuing to stir so that soup doesn't stick to pot"]
