  1. to make the sauce: combine all the sauce ingredients
  2. mix well and set aside
  3. to make the meatballs: combine all the meatball ingredients
  4. mix thoroughly
  5. shape into one-inch round balls
  6. arrange in an ungreased 13x9 inch baking pan
  7. cover with sauce
  8. bake in a 350 oven for 1 hour , basting occasinally
