Dracula S Bones With Raspberry Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. egg whites
  2. caster sugar
  3. vanilla essence
  4. raspberries
  5. seedless raspberry jam

Steps:

  1. whisk the egg whites until stiff but not dry
  2. gradually whisk in the sugar and essence until the mixture stands in soft peaks
  3. spoon the meringue into a large piping bag fitted with a plain nozzle
  4. pipe bone shapes onto baking sheets lined with baking parchment
  5. bake in a pre-heated oven at 110c degrees for 1 1 / 2 hours till dry
  6. cool on a wire rack
  7. press raspberries and syrup through a fine sieve into a pan
  8. add jam and heat gently until it melts , stirring regularly
  9. serve sauce as a dip or pour over bones just before serving
