Dry Martini Recipe Without Vermouth Recipe For Shrimp

VODKA MARTINI COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Combine vodka and dry vermouth in a cocktail mixing glass. Fill with ice and stir until chilled. Strain into a chilled martini glass.
• Garnish with three olives on a toothpick.

CLASSIC DRY MARTINI

Steps:

• In mixing glass or cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine gin and vermouth. Stir well, about 30 seconds, then strain into martini glass. Garnish with olive or lemon twist and serve.

DIRTY MARTINI

Steps:

• In a mixing glass, combine vodka, dry vermouth, brine and olives. Pour into a glass over ice. Either drink on the rocks, or strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

SHRIMP SAUTEED WITH GARLIC AND VERMOUTH

Steps:

• Simmer olive oil in large skillet.
• Add shrimp amd cook until just golden brown; remove from pan and set aside.
• Reduce heat and add butter, garlic, salt and pepper.
• When well blended, increase heat and add lemon juice and vermouth and cook for 1 minute stirring constantly.
• Pour over shrimp to coat and enjoy.

SHRIMP STIR-FRY WITH VERMOUTH

Steps:

• In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, vermouth, brown sugar, and chili sauce.
• Heat a large nonstick or cast-iron skillet over high; swirl in oil. Add mushrooms and a pinch of salt; cook, stirring occasionally, until brown, about 5 minutes. Add shrimp, scallion, and ginger; cook until shrimp is opaque and golden brown in spots, 2 to 3 minutes.
• Add soy mixture and celery; toss to coat. Serve, with rice, scallion greens, and lime wedges.
