DUTCH FUNNEL CAKE

our youth group used to make these at fund raising yard sales. i am posting this recipe for family groups and one for large groups. just like you get at the fair!

Time: 20 minutes

Number Of Ingredients: 8

Ingredients: eggs,milk,flour,sugar,salt,baking powder,powdered sugar,oil

Steps:

  1. beat eggs , add milk and beat again
  2. sift dry ingredients into a large bowl
  3. add egg mixture and beat until smooth
  4. heat oil to 400 degrees
  5. pour 1 / 2 cup of batter into a funnel
  6. let batter drizzle into hot oil starting at the center and expanding in a circular motion , criss-crossing with the last bit of batter
  7. brown on both sides
  8. drain on paper towels
  9. sprinkle with powdered sugar
