Easy Cheesy Fondue Ragu Recipe

  1. tortellini
  2. italian bread
  3. italian sausage
  4. polenta
  5. vegetable oil
  6. garlic clove
  7. rag pasta sauce
  8. goat cheese
  9. fresh ground black pepper
  10. nutmeg


  1. to prepare dipping items:
  2. tortellini: prepare according to package directions
  3. italian bread: cut into 1-inch cubes
  4. italian sausage: place sausage in a large saucepan , cover with water
  5. bring to a boil over high heat and cook until sausage is cooked through , approximately 10 minutes
  6. remove from pot and cool for 5 minutes
  7. slice into 1 / 4-inch slices
  8. place a large skillet over high heat
  9. add in enough vegetable oil to cover bottom of skillet
  10. cook sausage on both sides until golden brown , approximately 2 minutes per side
  11. drain
  12. polenta: slice polenta into 1 / 2-inch slices
  13. place skillet back over medium high heat
  14. add in additional vegetable oil to measure 1 / 4-inch in bottom of skillet
  15. add in the slices of polenta and cook until golden brown , approximately 4 - 5 minutes per side
  16. drain on paper towel , then cut into quarters
  17. to prepare fondue:
  18. rub the inside of an electric fondue pot with garlic
  19. set heat on fondue pot at 350 degrees
  20. add in the cheddar sauce and traditional sauce and cook until heated through , approximately 3 - 4 minutes
  21. whisk in the goat cheese until melted
  22. stir in the black pepper and nutmeg , bring to a boil , stirring constantly
  23. lower heat to 200 degrees
  24. using fondue forks or tooth picks , spear prepared dipping items and enjoy !
  25. serves 4 as a meal , more as appetizers
