EASY BAKED TOFU
A delicious foolproof 20-minute easy baked tofu that's perfect for salads, your favorite stir fries, and more! Super simple and quick! You only need one ingredient and 20 minutes of your time. Yes, it's that easy.

Steps:
- Wrap your extra firm tofu in a paper towel, place between two plates and set something heavy on top - like books or canned goods - and let sit for 10 minutes. This is to get most of the water out of the tofu so it will cook better and absorb the marinade.
- Unwrap tofu and cut into small cubes like the pictures.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees, place tofu into a bowl, and cover with soy sauce. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Spread marinated tofu evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Enjoy on top of salads or my Peaceful Easy Feeling Buddha Bowl.
BAKED TOFU BITES
Tofu cubes are marinated and then baked in the oven. The tofu can be used as a hot or cold snack or used as salad topping. Don't forget the smoke flavoring, it really adds the special flavor.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly spray a non-stick baking sheet with oil.
- Slice tofu into 1/2-inch slices, and gently press excess water out of tofu. Cut sliced tofu into 1/2-inch cubes.
- In a bowl, stir together the soy sauce, maple syrup, ketchup, vinegar, and hot sauce. Stir in sesame seeds, garlic powder, black pepper, and liquid smoke. Gently stir tofu cubes into sauce. Cover, and marinate at least 5 minutes.
- Place the tofu on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes. Turn tofu, and bake until the tofu turns golden brown, about 15 minutes more.

- Preheat the oven to 400°
- Cut the tofu into 1 inch cubes
- Place the tofu on a thick dish towel. Gently press it down and let it sit for at least 10 minutes
- Transfer the tofu to a lined cookie sheet. Pour Olive oil over the tofu and toss gently to cover all sides
- Bake tofu for 20 minutes. Flip the tofu and bake an additional 20 minutes
- Enjoy!

CRISPY BAKED TOFU

- Preheat oven to 400°. Blot tofu dry. Cut into 3/4-in. cubes. Place on a clean kitchen towel; cover with another towel. Place a cutting board on top; gently place a large cast iron skillet on top. Let stand 10 minutes. , Meanwhile, in a shallow dish, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, sesame oil, salt, garlic powder and pepper. Place cornstarch in a separate shallow dish. Add tofu to soy mixture; turn to coat. Add tofu, a few pieces at a time, to the cornstarch; toss to coat. Place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake until cubes are golden brown and crispy, 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through. Garnish with green onions, if desired.

EASY BAKED TOFU CUBES
This is my staple tofu marinade! I add it to stir frys and salads or just eat it plain. The recipe was based on a friend's, but I altered the amounts a bit to my taste. I like my tofu best if it's frozen and unthawed before using. Time to make doesn't include marinating.

Steps:
- Prepare the tofu by pressing between 2 plates and something heavy (cans, textbooks, whatev). It needs to be pressed for at least 30minutes, draining the water halfway through.
- Whisk the marinade ingredients and cube the tofu in half inch chunks.
- Let the tofu soak up the marinade for as long as you like (at least 15 minutes, overnight is ideal).
- Bake with the marinade in a dish at 375 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Flip the pieces halfway through baking them.
- Serving ideas: in fried rice, a basic salad, pita pocket w/veggies, w/cooked broccoli.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly oil a large baking sheet.
- Gently press tofu pieces to release as much water as possible. Arrange tofu on the prepared baking sheet.
- Whisk soy sauce, agave nectar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger together in a bowl until marinade is evenly combined. Brush half of the marinade over tofu pieces.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Flip tofu and brush remaining marinade over tofu. Sprinkle sesame seeds over tofu. Continue baking until tofu is crisp, about 30 minutes more. Transfer tofu to a wire rack using a spatula; cool.
