CHOCOLATE GUINNESS CAKE
One bite and everyone will propose a toast to this silky-smooth chocolate Guinness cake. The cream cheese frosting reminds us of the foamy head on a perfectly poured pint. -Marjorie Hennig, Seymour, Indiana

CHOCOLATE GUINNESS CAKE
This is a dark, moist cake that keeps beautifully. It doesn't taste exactly of chocolate or Guinness, but a lovely deep flavor somewhere between the two. I can see the addition of some ginger doing very nicely in this. It comes together in a flash on the stovetop. From Nigella Lawson by way of Kim O'Donnell of the Washington Post.

CHOCOLATE GUINNESS CAKE
For me, a chocolate cake is the basic unit of celebration. The chocolate Guinness cake here is simple but deeply pleasurable, and has earned its place as a stand-alone treat.

CHOCOLATE AND GUINNESS® CAKE
This easy recipe is an adaptation of the classic, but is even easier to make. Don't be alarmed by the Guinness® - it's simply used to develop the texture of the cake by making it extra dense and moist. This cake almost ends up pudding-like, and goes down a treat when served with cream or ice cream. This proves that a bakery-quality cake can be made so easily at home!

CHOCOLATE GUINNESS® CAKE
A little trip to Ireland all baked in a delicious chocolate cake with Guinness® flavor. You can serve it with powdered sugar or ganache poured on top. I use this recipe for my groom's cakes but I frost it with a chocolate buttercream then pour ganache evenly over the top. I use raspberries or strawberries to decorate the top for color. It turns out beautiful!

- Combine the crushed cookies, butter, 2 tablespoons sugar, and cocoa in a small bowl; mix; press into the bottom of the prepared springform pan.

Beat the chocolate into the cream cheese mixture. Add the sour cream, salt, beer, and vanilla; blend until smooth. Pour the mixture over the crust. Place the pan into a large, deep baking dish. Fill the dish with water to cover the bottom half of the springform pan.
- Bake the cheesecake in the water bath in the preheated oven for 45 minutes; turn oven off; leave the cheesecake in the oven with oven door slightly ajar another 45 minutes; remove from oven. Run a knife along the edge of the cheesecake to loosen from pan. Chill in refrigerator at least 4 hours.
