- Combine the raspberries, blueberries, sugar, and water in a small saucepan; bring to a boil and cook at a boil for 5 minutes, scraping the bottom as needed to keep from burning. Reduce heat to low; simmer the mixture until thick, about 10 minutes. Serve warm.

American style Blueberry and Bannana Pancakes With a homemade lemon syrup is a , simple , tasty and nutritious breakfast.

Steps:
- Sift the flour into a mixing bowl.Stir in the sugar and make a well in the centre of the mixture
- Measure the milk in a jug and then crack the egg into the jug.Lightly beat the milk and egg together with a fork until they are mixed together .
- Pour the egg mixure into the well in the centre of the flour mix .Beat with a wooden spoon until you have a smooth batter.
- Mash the bannanas together until smooth ,then stir into the batter with the blueberries.
- Heat a small knob of butter in a frying pan add three small ladlefuls of batter to make the 3 pancakes 8cm in diameter.
- Cook for two mins until bubbles appear on the surface .Flip the pancakes over and cook for another two minutes until both sides are light gold.
- To make the syrup add all ingredients into 1 small pan on a low heat stirring all the time for 2 minutes then take off heat and leave to cool for a few minutes.
- Stack the pancakes on top of each other to make a small tower.Then pour the syrup on top of the tower and sprinkle a couple of blueberries on top to serve.

- Add into a medium sized bowl the flour, baking powder sugar and salt and wisk toghether.
- Next crack your eggs and seperate the egg yoaks from the egg whites into 2 seperate bowls. Then beat the egg yoaks and add in the milk then mix well. Then add in the egg and milk mixture into the dry ingredients and wisk untill the mixture turns into a batter. Feel free to add more milk if you think the batter is to thick.
- Next with the egg whites in the bowl wisk them untill light and fluffy like whipped cream then fold this into the batter.
- Now you are ready to cook the pancakes. next add 2-2 tbsp of the mixture into a lightly oiled pan. wait untill you seebubbles come to the top of the pancakes and all the mixture has dried on the top. this means you will need to flip the pancake and check when this side is cooked.
- To make the hot food sauce u will need to:
- Add the strawberries and the milk into a blenderand half of the caster sugar. then you need to add this to a warm pan and cook slowly when it is as hot as you want it you need to add the rest of the caster sugar and cook a bit more to blend in the sugar. surve with the pancakes warm and with a small nob of butter if you want.
