Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F. Line 2 cookie sheets with cooking parchment paper. In large bowl, beat butter, shortening, brown sugar and granulated sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and eggs. On low speed, beat in flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda until blended. Stir in oats, candies, raisins and peanuts.
- Onto cookie sheets, drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls about 2 inches apart.
- Bake 17 to 19 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.

- Heat oven to 300°F. Place butter in 13x9-inch pan; heat in oven 2 to 3 minutes or until melted (watch to prevent burning). Stir in cereal, corn snacks and raisins until evenly coated.
- Bake 10 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Cool slightly, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in marshmallows and candies. Store in loosely covered container.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°; grease two cookie sheets or line them with Silpat.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking soda.
- In a bigger bowl, cream the butter and sugars; beat in the egg.
- Add in the vanilla and water; mix together until they are just combined.
- Add in the flour mixture and oatmeal; mix until combined.
- Add in the chocolate chips, peanuts, and raisins; mix until combined.
- Drop 1/4 cup dough, 3 inches apart, onto baking sheets; press the cookies down lightly.
- Bake for 15-17 minutes; remove the cookies and cool them on a wire rack.

OVEN ROASTED MAPLE GORP

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Place maple syrup on the stove with cinnamon and vanilla over medium low heat to infuse the flavor. Warm syrup a couple of minutes, remove.
- Combine oats, hazelnuts, almonds, raisins, cranberries and seeds in a bowl. Toss with maple syrup and remove the cinnamon stick and vanilla bean. Spread the maple coated mixture out on a cookie sheet and roast 15 minutes. Remove the nuts from oven and transfer to another cold pan, tossing the mix to quick-cool it. Once cool, toss with peanut candy and eat or pack up for a hike!
