HEATH COOKIE BARS
These rich Heath cookie bars are frosted with chocolate and studded with crunchy Heath bar toffee bits inside and out!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, vanilla and egg yolks on low speed until smooth.
- Add the flour, salt and 1 cup Heath toffee bits and stir until just combined. The mixture will be thick and crumbly.
- Empty mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it out evenly using wet fingers. Bake for 25 minutes, until golden.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Let sit for 5 minutes, then spread evenly using an offset spatula. Sprinkle with the remaining Heath toffee bits.
- Cool completely then refrigerate for 20 minutes to allow the chocolate to set up. Lift from the pan using the parchment paper onto a cutting board, then cut into squares and serve.

Steps:
- Line an 11x7-inch pan with well-greased wax or parchment paper. Set aside.
- Melt the butter on low in a heavy saucepan. Stir in the sugar, syrup and water. Stirring constantly, use a candy thermometer and cook until the mixture reaches 305 degrees F.
- Pour the hot candy onto the prepared pan. Spread the mixture to the edges. Allow to sit until the mixture is stable but still hot. Spread the melted chocolate chips over the top. Sprinkle nuts over the top of the chocolate and gently press in.
- Allow the candy to cool and harden. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.

HEATH TOFFEE BIT BARS - EASY SNACK

Steps:
- With an electric mixer, cream the brown sugar & butter on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
- Beat in the egg yolk, vanilla, and salt.
- With the mixer on low speed, gradually add the flour and mix until just combined.
- The dough will be slightly stiff.
- Pat dough evenly into the bottom of an 8x8 pan lined with parchment paper.
- Bake at 350 degrees until pale golden on top, about 15-20 minutes.
- For the topping:
- Remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the crust.
- Return pan to the oven for 1 to 2 minutes until the chocolate chips are beginning to melt.
- Remove the pan from the oven and spread the chocolate evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle the pecans and Heath bar toffee pieces evenly over the chocolate.
- Let cool completely in the pan. Use a sharp knife to cut into small squares.
BITS O'BRICKLE BARS
Not sure where I got this recipe, but I've been making it since the 70s!

- 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- 2. In the bowl of your stand mixer using the paddle attachment, pour in the cake mix.
- 3. Add the butter and egg and whip until smooth.
- 4. PAM a 13x9 pan.
- 5. Pat the cake mix, butter, and egg batter into the pan.
- 6. In a clean bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and one beaten egg.
- 7. Fold in one-half package of the Bits O'Brickle Toffee Bits.
- 8. Add one-half package of chopped pecans.
- 9. Pour this mixture on top of the cake batter.
- 10. Bake for 25 minutes.
- 11. Remove from the oven and cut into bars while still warm.
